In My Horrible OpinionIn My Horrible Opinion
We got the fried green bean appetizer for $10. I felt that was a little high for an appetizer until it was brought out - it was a larger than average appetizer serving. And they were SO GOOD. The breading was perfect. We split a classic burger, which again I felt was priced a bit high. We hadn't been here before so I didn't know what to expect, like the generous serving of the appetizer & what really caught us by surprise - the hamburger patties are huge. They obviously aren't cheap frozen pucks. Now, there was a hiccup with our order - the classic burger comes with onions & pickles and I asked for extra pickles, and it came with no onions & pickles, period. No big deal, they brought us some. The issue was taking the burger apart to add them made it very messy. It was messy because the burgers were so big. Hey, messy happens, especially with good burgers. This wouldn't be worth mentioning but the chef (cook? what's the difference?) came out & said he must have missed that. Did the waitress put no pickles & onions on the ticket? Or did he not know the ingredients of the classic burger? Anyway, the bottom line is will we return. There are some places that are fine but not noteworthy. Station 3 is definitely noteworthy because of the green beans, which were great, and the size of the hamburger patties. So we will definitely be back.

Had deep fried pickles for an appetizer. Very crunchy and delicious. I had the bison burger with onion rings. Cooked to prefect temp and onion rings were great. Will be back again.

Absolutely delicious, and friendly staff with a wonderfully inviting space. Plenty of room and was great with my 4 year old :-)

Went to try something new and right as we walked in we noticed the roof was leaking.... When we sat down I offered to take a look and fix it if they needed someone because it was a Sunday. About 5 min later we saw the cook screwing up cardboard on the ceiling to "stop" the leak. After a few min we ordered some food and waited not very long before we received our food......... It was the worst grilled cheese sandwich I had ever had.... Ever.... Plain white bread, triple layered with the most flavorless block cheese with the bottom layer cooked till the cheese was hard..... No salt, hardly any cheese and no flavor at all. The tomato soup was ok however. It seemed like it was blended tomatoes with some sort of cream added that gave it a very basic tomato only taste also with very little seasoning added but it did taste alright. My wife ordered a hamburger and she loved it except that the buns they use on an obviously moist loaded sandwich are regular hamburger buns that get mushy supper fast and leaves you with slop falling all over the place and a soggy squished falling apart bun. You would think that they would have noticed the problem and seen the food wasted because people can't even pick up the food they ordered to eat it. Then to top it all off my wife ordered a Caesar salad which was only supposed to add a $1.99 to the bill because it is part of the menu added to her plate... Well we get the bill and where informed that the salad was going to be $4.99 because I the husband ate it even though she ordered it with her meal. O and one more thing... My wife ordered a bloody Mary and it was the worst she has had. It was as though they never put alcohol in it, she paid $6 for a drink with hardly anything but tomato juice in it. WE WILL...

Yikes! It pains me to do this to a locally owned establishment. I would love to support them over chains any day. It took an abnormally long time to receive our food, even with no other orders in the restaurant. I picked up my "philly" which had an abysmal amount of meat and cheese, and everything fell out the back. Who serves a Philly like that? Ended up eating it with a fork. The worst was the bite size. It came out looking like little Salisbury steak patties (not the typical LCV cube style). It was criminally overcooked and underseasoned. It just looked like dead flesh....inedible. The waitress saw and offered to bring out a new plate, which we graciously accepted. The next bite size looked better, as they seasoned it this time (with some kind of teriyaki sauce...which is a whole other issue lol). It was well done, once again. The waitress apologized and stated the cook lost his thermometer. Who needs a thermometer to cook bite size lol? Is he going to stab each piece of tiny meat individually? The final slap in the face was a 15% discount for all of that.. The server seemed genuine and nice, and she is the only reason I'm giving two stars...
