I live in the neighborhood directly across the street and as a fellow health foodie, I was thrilled to see a nutrition shop opening. It’s super cute inside and the workers seem relatively friendly. However, I do have quite a problem with it. The place is overall a great concept, but it very much reminds me of an Herbalife shop that brands itself on calling itself a nutrition shop. In any authentic health food shop, ingredients are highly advertised because many of us care about our overall health. This place misses the mark there. I asked a worker what the ingredients were in the shakes specifically, and all she could say was “we dont use any milk. We use soy.” That’s pretty broad right?! Are they suitable for individuals who have diabetes or follow a KETO, gluten free, vegan, low FODMAP or any other diet? Who knows?! All I seem to know is if you avoid soy, the shakes are not suitable for you. Seriously look up Herbalife and then look at the few photos of the products from this shop. I have gone in twice, a week or 2 apart to see if anything had changed, such as updated menus that show ingredients since businesses are often still making updates in the beginning. There were no changes. On the 2nd visit, I did attempt to add in fiber to my shake, which was advertised on a small board near the counter and was told it was not yet available. I hate to knock a new business in the post COVID era, but please be up front about the products you sell. This will allow consumers to make better informed decisions for their health. All in all, if you have no care about what you’re consuming and have no specific health concerns that require that you be tedious about ingredients, give this place a try. However, please do not think it’s healthy just because it is branded as a...
Read moreI won a gift card which was the only reason I went the few times I did. The shop is cute and there were a variety of options. The first time I went in- the owner barely even acknowledged me. Chalked it up to maybe a bad day. The next few times I came in- she acted like she was doing me a huge favor for even opening up a business. I ended up giving the rest of my gift card to someone else so I didn’t have to deal with her. No $11.00 tea is worth being treated like second class. A smile and a thank you would go a long way.
In response to the business response - I don’t know why you would have record of me anyhow. It was a gift card won from another business in which I am a customer. I didn’t give my information over. No need to further the discussion- I am simply suggesting that you be nicer to people. And act like you actually care that people are dropping tons of money in there for herbal life products that they could literally...
Read moreI have been here many times and have always been happy until today! Super disappointed in customer service or lack there of. I picked up 2 drinks one was the Purple Heart the other was the Arnold Palmer. I got home 5 mins after picking them up and the Arnold Palmer tasted way off. It tasted like I was eating an orange. No taste of tea or lemonade but straight orange taste. I immediately messaged the Sango Nutrition and was told the drink was definitely made correctly and all I could be offered was half off another. We had only had 2 sips out of the drink I simply asked if I could come back at my inconvenience to have it remade and was told no! When you pay $9 for a drink I don’t think that is good customer service in the least! And I probably...
