As soon as you walk up to the building you can smell the mouthwatering aroma of fresh baked pastries and breads. This was our first time here and they did not disappoint! I got the Reeses iced donut and a cappuccino chocolate chip muffin. They were decadent! The donut literally melts in your mouth (with no waxy residue) and the flavor is just fantastic! The top of the muffin is crumbly and up until today, I didn't know you could chew a cappuccino. My Husband got the maple bacon long John and he absolutely loved it. The sizes are massive! Well worth the money and the stop. We will definitely be stopping by again on our way back through!!! Edit!!! GUYS!!!!YOU MUST TRY THE RESTAURANT!!! Ok so first time eating there obviously. We started with the mozzarella sticks and had both ranch and marinara to dip it in. Absolutely phenomenal! The breading was great, the cheese had a great stretch to it. The flavor of the marinara sauce was delicious (served warm). Then I ordered the Frisco burger (1/2 lb) with fries. The burger was done to perfection, the onions were so soft you couldn't feel them but the flavor was there and the bread was toasted on point. They serve the fries with a Chipotle ranch to dip and it was so good. My Husband had the wrangler burger and he got the onion rings. They serve it with a homemade BBQ sauce and it's so tasty 😋 the onion rings had a beautiful crisp to them and the onion was soft but not mushy. Then we ended with a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. This was my first time ever having it. The taste was delectable but I have an aversion to certain textures, so it was rather triggering but I found a way around it. The crust was beautifully golden and flaky and the cool whip tasted homemade and that made it even better. So as I've said before, do yourself a favor and stop here. Try...

I've come to this truck stop many times but never had the time to try the restaurant until tonight. Boy am I glad I did. I got an order of the stuffed mushrooms and the Monte Cristo sandwich. If I am feeling up to it, I'll be coming back for brekkers in the morning. That salmon Benedict is calling my name.

The mushrooms came out very quickly. They're pretty big, I'm used to them being bite-sized. They are hands-down the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. No competition.

The Monte Cristo was also super delicious. I honestly can't decide if I like it more than the one from Cheddar's. It's one of my go-tos every time I go there. Now that I'm thinking on it, I think Nelson Bros takes the win. The reason is the breading. Here, they use Raspberry Fritter Bread that's then grilled. At Cheddar's, as much as I love the taste, they deep fry it. I always end up regretting eating both halves in one sitting because the grease upsets my stomach. Not getting that here. The side chips are also super good. Pretty sure they're house-made, but not positive.

Top it off with a great beer and it was a fantastic meal.

Prices are a tad steep, but honestly, with the quality served here, I think it's justified. Can't wait to come back and try more! The potato pancakes are also super tempting.

Oh! I nearly forgot to compliment my server, Brianna! She was absolutely great! Attentive, but not overbearing, easy to talk to, very friendly. Super happy with her as my server. The decor of the restaurant, which matches the entire truck stop, is gorgeous. It's like being in a tree house or a log cabin in the woods. I love...

11-29-23, I was the 1st customer of the day at 5am. So I figured the breakfast would be amazing. Nope. I ordered the mega meat omelette. According to the menu it’s packed full of wild rice sausage, ham, bacon and regular sausage and American cheese. It did cover half the plate. It came out luke warm with rubbery eggs?? It had 3 medallions of the wild rice sausage on top of the omelette, not in it. Very little bacon, but mostly full of ham and regular sausage. I asked for some American cheese on my hashbrowns and it was smothering my hashbrowns so much I had to uncover them. I guess I got my $1.00 charge worth and Maybe they forgot the cheese in my omelette and made up for it? My pancakes were hard and crusty. I gave up on them when it was hard to cut them with my steak knife provided with my wild rice sausage. The extra side of wild rice sausage was good, but again… Luke warm? How can I be the 1st customer of the day and have food barely warm? $2.99/cup of burnt tasting coffee? Honestly charging those prices for coffee is comparable to buying a drink at a bar paying the alcohol prices. 4 customers at that price should definitely have you guys buying better coffee to serve. My opinion, wait until George comes in at the diesel fuel building and get breakfast from him or stop at the Hasty 183 dinner prior to this place or go on to the diner at Sauk Center MN just down the road a ways. You definitely are not charged these prices and the food is hot. P.S. Marsha was the only good thing about this experience here, she was an...
