Oh, sweet iconic Taco Bell, your food is good, but your employees are incredible. I went tonight for a late night dinner around midnight and I don’t know what the situation was, but those employees were going through it. Their attitude was amazing though, and they were very much focused on giving the highest quality service that they could possibly give under circumstances that were surely very much out of their control. I mostly spoke with Matthew, and it wasn’t my first time. Last time I went, I couldn’t make up my mind on what to order, and he very enthusiastically, suggested the grilled cheese steak burrito, which is genuinely the best item I have ever ordered from a Taco Bell, ever. And beyond giving excellent recommendations, he is also just an absolute delight to interact with. Tonight, even with all of the craziness, he really was able to zero in on me and my experience waiting in line, and made me feel feel very seen, heard, and appreciated as a customer . I cannot imagine anyone handling the situation that that they were dealing with better than Matthew did, and Taco Bell is beyond lucky to have him with them. Truly, I am mostly writing this review because Matthew gave me the best customer service experience I have had in months, and he needs to be recognized. Thank you Taco Bell for my tasty tacos (they were really really good), and an extra hearty thank you to the treasured...
Read moreWe put in an order on our way home from a long trip. In general we love this Taco Bell. The food is always hott and usually we are greeted with kindness and a smile or a hello, but today we were not greeted or even spoken to at all. We pulled up to the window and the young lady at the window stayed with her butt/back office her head facing at us. No hello, no, we will be right with you, no just a few minutes. Just her backside and a closed window. For a good 2-5 minutes while we waited. Then the window opened, I smiled, no smile back. Still, not a word was spoken. No, thank you or, have a good night. She handed the bag, I paused in hopes for some sign of words... Nothing, so I asked "is this everything?" Then, I got a single "yes" . Nothing more, nothing less. I dont usually review any place, and im not knocking the staff before or my better experiences before, but I've been in Service/Customer Service management my entire career (30+ years) and would want to know if this was how my customer facing staff was greeting our guests. I definitely dont need to be greeted with flowers and candy, i dont need a 10 minute convesation, but at least a hello or goodnight/day is very much respectful in this type of industry. This was not intended to hurt anyone, only to help better how your patrons who frequent are treated. Thanks...
Read moreThis is an updated review- this time around the customer service level was even higher than last time and therefore definitely will be receiving a five-star rating. The attitude that I could hear through the drive up window of the current staff working was upbeat and very entertaining. The crew was having a good time you can hear them giggling and laughing and poking fun at one another. While staying on task, completing the orders, and being ready to help each other at the drop of a hat. The employee at the drive up window greeted me with a smile as he told me my total. I really appreciate the sincerity and the honesty that I've been seeing at this location lately. It warms my heart and definitely encourages me to go back each time. Do the staff and crew of The Taco Bell located at 2990 Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater Florida. I gave you two thumbs up and salute you for an absolutely amazing job well done!! To the Head managers and owners of this location I recommend the crew that was working tonight on the 1st of December 2022 be given at least a $1 raise. Like I said they were working like clockwork while also showing that they could have a good time and that says a lot about their work ethic which is...
