Raceway Pub — Restaurant in Clermont

Stopped in on a whim on Saturday night (08/10/19), and it was the best accident I've had in a long time. ;-) This is an amazing little bar in Crawfordsville that caters to everyone. The only crazy you'll find here is CRAZY FUN! My wife and I have gone to just about every bar in the Plainfield/Avon/Brownsburg area (KTs Bar, Legends, The Doghouse, Sunshine Bowl, etc.) and we were "satisfied". Raceway Pub blew us away and will be our goto locale to placate that desire to just have a fun time. Although we didn't eat here because we had dinner earlier, the smells were AMAZING! We had to fight the urge to have a midnight engagement with one of their delectable pizzas! The drinks were priced well, and the clientele is as diverse as it gets. The DJ (Cowboy Casanovas' Lead Vocalist James Mink II) was exceptional and can truly play to the crowd. He'd fill in between karaoke attempts with some amazing vocals and dance steps to match..definitely an untapped talent. We went in there as strangers and left having made several new friends. Best of all, my wife couldn't stop talking about how great of a time she had...and that hasn't happened in years! You know those nights that you go out for a good time, but end up raising the bar? That's what happens at Raceway Pub! The night started casually enough, but ended with everyone dancing around the stage and around whatever space you could find around the tables. Everyone is welcome here and the group is as friendly as it gets. Be a stranger in another bar or go to Raceway Pub in Crawfordsville to be a part of something special. I know...

It is not a very dependable place to lay roots or even really make plans because some times its open and then I will drive by to go and its the exact same time the very next week and they already shut it down for the night! So I really can't contribute anything other than what I know! But they do have or just recently started having karaoke on Fridays I do believe so maybe just maybe they will keep staying open so if someone actually wants to spend some time with someone who is usually always there then watch out you might...

I went there on an obviously slow night but could not get the bartenders attention while I was just standing there with a friend who had never been before the bartender made sure a guy who was already drinking got a fresh beer then proceeded to take his pizza order while I was just still standing there waiting and to make the insult worse she proceeded to go to kitchen to start his pizza order!!
