Omega Tacos — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I was a loyal customer until today. Not only has the food quality declined significantly (but still continued to go because there aren’t a lot of taco places in this area), but the worst part of this place is the young girl’s bad attitude at the register. I asked her for a little container of green salsa, and she looked up at me, and rolled her eyes as if annoyed with the fact that she had to take her eyes off her phone. She then stated they didn’t have any, even though I was looking at the container inside the fridge. (they have two separate green salsas, one mixed with avocado & the other is mild) I wanted a small container for my FOUR tacos! I then asked if she simply didn’t want to do her job, to which she responded they were the same salsas. I know for a fact they aren’t the same salsas because I would frequent there two-three times a week. I told her to forget it, I will not be returning. I can understand if they are extremely busy, but the place was empty. Also, yesterday I asked for no cilantro or onions on my tacos, and instead lettuce and cheese. The SAME girl initially told me the tacos couldn’t be made with lettuce and cheese, just cilantro and onions. LOL. I hate having to write this review because their food was perfect every time and our service has been good up until recently but unfortunately my business is getting refused to order/eat here all over green salsa. The young lady that answered the phone the other day answered the phone with only an "Hi" which is not good business but that's besides the point. My guy ordered his food and simply asked if they had the green salsa. She said no and all he did was ask a question as to why (maybe they ran out or stopped making it). She then proceeded to hang up the phone and so my guy called her back and ask if he did something wrong. He was upset because we also have a small business and it just was not professional on their end. He walked into the store and the young lady and him got into an "argument." I understand you have minors working there and what happened with the whole situation was uncalled for but refusing us as a small business all over some green salsa just makes me sad. I wish them nothing but success in their business and I wish I could give them more than...

I don't understand the hype.

Pros: very nice staff, place seems clean, the outdoor patio is nice.

Now for the cons and disappointments:

I ordered 3 street tacos, steak and chicken. Although my steak had good flavor, I didn't care for the chicken very well. I ordered cheese on my tacos and got Fiesta blend cheese from Walmart... not real Mexican cheese. My Dad's ground beef wasn't very flavorful either.

The biggest disappointment was the absolute lack of flavor on the green salsa. The green salsa was the most lifeless and bland green salsa I've had in quite some time. The red "hot" salsa isn't that hot. If I can handle it and I did, it ISN'T hot because I can't handle too much heat. Honestly both salsas sucked and didn't add any good flavors.

No Diet Coke, no diet Sprite, no Diet anything on drinks. I understand they have a limited drink selection but Diet Coke needs to be in the fridge with regular. They had Cherry Coke but not Diet?

Surprised this place has such good ratings and likely won't be back.
