3 Agaves Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Stopped in 3 Agaves Mexican Restaurant for a Sunday evening meal and I was kinda disappointed at the food. The parking was real tight in the rear of the building, with maybe room for 6 vehicles. I was greeted by the host when I came in the entrance and given a booth right by the front door. There were maybe 10 other customers there during the time of my meal. A server helped me out almost immediately, taking my order for an orange Fanta and an ice water. I observed the menu and skimming through I found an item that I have had a difficult time finding in the Indianapolis area called Pollo fundido. I first experienced this meal in Phoenix, Arizona and I absolutely love it. Of course I ordered it expecting the meal to taste the way I had envisioned it tasting. I was disappointed to say the least. It was too runny for my taste and the seasoning left a whole lot to be desired. The total cost was a little over $18. Oh well. Nice place. The food and the margarita was great. The service was ok. Our first server was definitely tapped out and inattentive. They didn't tell us they were transferring us to another server so how would we know to tell another person that we wanted to order something else or get our check. I placed an order to go. The server even brought the menu over and I showed her what I needed to take home and told her twice. Wasn't correct and we waited 10 extra minutes. Not usually a big deal but when you're dining with 5 children and they are ready to go then it's time to go. If you are a parent of young children you know what I mean. I'll probably return but hopefully I'll have a better...

Now our go to, my mom and myself, every time we want to meet for lunch or dinner! Never ever a bad experience and I'm thrilled that a business thats opened up at the combined locations in Clermont has finally been so successful, and we let them know that every time we're there! Usually pretty busy during normal lunch/ dinner times, so prepare to park over at the bank cross corner from there, which isn't ideal, but it's not anything to complain about when you see your bill and how amazing the attentive service and terrific food actually is!
