Big Bites — Restaurant in Cleveland

Was looking for a good tasting chicken philly. Google suggested Big Bites along with a few others that was close to downtown. I read the reviews on each of the suggested places. Big Bites had the best reviews. We went about 4:45pm. There was a gentleman there alone greeting, taking orders, preparing orders etc. He was so very polite. Since I did a Google search, I saw pictures and had questions about certain food items. He took time to describe the items, what the items consisted of etc all while greeting, cooking and answering the phones. I ordered the chicken philly and a steak bowl. (Since those were talked about more in the reviews. My order was prepared just like I requested. The gentleman offered us a cold drink to go with our meals on him. The portions are definitely worth the price. The chicken on the philly was tender and seasoned just right. Every bite was delightfully good. I definitely will order it again. The steak bowl is a must order as well. The steak was tender, seasoned and plentiful. The veggies were very fresh. I was very impressed. Seen a lot of reviews saying the shwarma was good...... The chicken was dry and it claims to come with house hot sauce along with pickles and garlic. There wasnt much sauce but what bothered me was that there was nothing hot about it what so ever. Wasnt bad and wasnt great, overpriced and dry, i would be less critical if it was cheaper.

I think i showed up at a bad time, long wait and there was one guy making food for an army and it seemed to all be chicken wings so maybe thats the way to go at this spot. Dont bother with the shwarma, it was underwhelming compared to what i can only think are false reviews or i just got a lazy...

I started working in this area about two months ago. I Googled around till I saw Big Bites and gave them a try. I don't eat fast food and don't care to sit for very long for lunch. The go to test for me is a cheese burger with mustard and onion. This burger was very good. Nicely sized and crusted on the outside and perfectly tender inside. The bun was of good quality and flat topped grilled. It came with a generous amount of fries that had a very nice seasoning on them with a little spice. A perfect lunch. The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant and courteous. I'll be back to try some of the other menu...
