DONT DO IT!!! the only reason I'm giving is one star is because zero isn't an option. First off when we arrived the restaurant was completely empty. I asked for a strawberry margarita she came back with a raspberry one, I got my daughter a lemonade she brought a lime soda back. My boyfriend and I both got enchiladas and my daughter got chicken nuggets. Everything lacked seasoning and looked like it was directly out of the microwave. Our server didn't come back to check on us until we were already ready to leave. Before even receiving the bill, I explained that I was unhappy with my overall experience and she got a manager. I explained everything to him and he replied with "I can't do anything once the food fits the table" what in the world!? I've never heard such malarkey. Not to mention as we were leaving he implied that we didn't have money which I thought was a stretch considering we didn't eat any of our food and we didn't ask for anything for free and he didn't offer to do anything with the bill i seriously went home and threw up because the food didn't sit right in my belly. And my daughter gave me water and told me I needed to rest because of the mean man made me sick lmao. Just save yourself...
Read moreWe visited this place frequently. Although the food was good the staff were not so friendly, but I thought the awkward vibe was just the language barrier. We ordered big and tipped big. Mother's day my son's took me and my husband there for an early dinner. We didn't have reservations and were okay with being seated at a center table. The waiter directed us to the table, as my son went to be seated a waitress stopped him and moved a woman and her son who was already seated in a booth to our table. We were left standing there. No one offered assistance or an explanation. Being frequent patrons meant nothing . Now I realize what the weird vibe was.I feel my family and I were not welcomed there and that restaurant staff discriminated against because we are not Mexican, but the people who they gave our table to was.Well their not the only restaurant in town , we'll spend our money where we'll be treated better .This restaurant is not for everyone. I do...
Read moreWent on a whim to try the menudo on a Sunday and had arguably the worst restaurant experience of my life.
The chips were obviously made the day before, our waiter asked us if we wanted ice, then gave us about 3 small ice cubes each per glass (I assume they hadn’t bothered to make ice for the day.) The menudo broth was bland and unseasoned, and the tripe was obviously left over scraps with big fatty chunks that would make even the most adventurous eater gag.
I should have turned away when I noticed we were the only customers during lunch on a weekend, but I wanted to give a local business a shot. Los Dos Fronteras is an insult to all family owned restaurants, and somehow stays in business by putting in less then the bare minimum effort.
The...
