CHINA TOWN I — Restaurant in Cleveland

This place is TERRIBLE! The food was nasty, the peppered steak sauce tasted like dog food gravy smells. The General Tso's chicken was overcooked and bland, the sides, similarly were overcooked and hard to eat.

The service was the worst: first I had left several special instructions, I like eating with chopsticks, I asked for chop sticks and received none with the order. Secondly, I asked the delivery driver CALL ME and left a number to do so on the instructions, they didn't and rang the upstairs neighbor's door bell, nearly causing a fight.

I took the majority of the food back the next day after talking with them over the phone and they BICKERED about partially eaten food that I had initially thrown into the trash because they insisted they needed it back. I told them I had pulled the food from the trash and the lady had grabbed the container without gloves, opened it, closed it and tried to hand it back to me. Completely unsanitary!

And the storefront was FREEZING and FILTHY. spots on the mirrors, the floor looked like it hadn't seen a deep clean in the years the place was open and the window to talk to the people through was broken.

I will NEVER order from them or accept food from them again. The state of the store and the service were beyond abysmal and I felt like I was most unwelcome.

We just came home with our pick up order and it is missing the side order of fried rice. We were charged $4.50 for it so I called to ask them to refund the money back to the credit card we used. They refused, saying they would take it off our next order or we could come back to get it. When I explained we did not live close and only eat out (or pick up) very seldom due to high prices. We save up to do it maybe once every few months. When I said I would prefer the refund back to my card, he hung up on me. I certainly hope it was worth the $4.50 to lose a customer. We ordered two other items, pepper steak and pork chow mei fun (they did substitute those for lo mein noodles, as requested, and I appreciated it). Unfortunately, those did not taste very good and we would not have returned there anyway. Times are quite hard financially for us as well as so many others. The $4.50 may not sound like much but I consider customer service important. So, be forewarned, if you get food from there and there is anything wrong, missing or whatever it is, you will not have any recourse. You will just hear a "click" in your ear as they...

They take it upon themselves to add their own tip onto your card. Yesterday was the 2nd time they've done this to me in the past 6 months, and I ALWAYS cross out the tip section & write my total on the line. It doesn't matter though, because they can still add a tip onto their system at the end of the night. Got an alert from my bank today that a tip was added & transaction was updated. I called their store...again.. to give them the opportunity to remedy the situation but she pretended like she couldn't hear me & couldn't understand me. So, now I have to dispute... Thank God I kept the receipt. But honestly, disputes are not a good look to your bank.... Their food isn't even as good anymore, and they've raised the prices pretty high. Just use the extra gas & time to go to the new Chinese spot near Parma Town... They are PHENOMENAL & their spring rolls are to die for!! But this place sucks now.
