Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cleveland

UPDATED::: I think this is the first time I’ve been back in about a year. I literally got in and out in no time because there really wasn’t anybody there in line. Few people in the store. But the food is bland, or my sense of smell and taste is gone. The only thing I can taste is jalapeños. There is no lime in the rice. The Carnitas kind of bland. Same with the beans, a little on the hard side. Again had no problem with the jalapeños in the tomato or corn salsa because that was all I tasted. The store looked clean, the staff was friendly, polite, courteous. I would probably agree with someone else to have posted saying that they’ve gotten very judicious about the amount of protein. Usually when I order to go, I get extra rice, extra beans, sometimes extra protein, and extra sour cream. And even when you tell them how much you would like, they Seem to not hear you. Maybe I’ll try again in six months. This is the first time I’ve been in this chipotle in about a year. Surprisingly, the last time I was there, both the rice and black beans were really undercooked. Hard black beans? Al dente Al dente rice. The tomato salsa was so-so, primarily because it’s February, so fresh tomatoes are in short supply. The young man making my bowl was polite. I got what I wanted in the bowl, mainly because it was both lunch and dinner, but the food in total was underwhelming. It was early afternoon, and not too busy. Seemed to have more on-line orders than in person. The overall taste was disappointing. I even tried heating the remainder up later, but both the rice and beans were still undercooked. Maybe I’ll try back in 6 months and see...

I highly do not recommend this location. Unfortunately this is the closest location but will no longer be receiving our services due to several incidents that have occurred with the same very rude & unprofessional two female employees.

If I was a supervisor or owner of this chain I would be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed that these specific employees are addressing concerns and customers like they have on numerous occasions & running this location into the ground with poor customer service.

Around 8:45pm this evening we went to the location to get a chicken quesadilla as well as a bowl. They advised they were out of cheese, an employee at this time had a big thing of cheese currently building someone’s order. We inquired about the advisement of “no cheese” . They advised no the cheese is only for online orders. We than inquired if we could order the cheese online due to this was post voiced prior to them already starting our order. We were met with aggression by these 2 female employees and then ignored. (Mind you they just started advertising they are now open later until 11).

It’s extremely sad those 2 female employees are there getting paid to speak to customers as if they were animals.

I just really wanted to let the owners know this was happening on a consistent basis at this location in hopes this treatment does not continue towards other customers.

This was a location we would eat at weekly sometimes more & we have both agreed the lack of continued unprofessional without any change despite reporting it has brought us to choosing a further & more professional location moving forward.

Disgusting inside the place is trash threw out this location staff is rude I ordered my food threw the mobile app opened it up it looked fine not a great but looked suitable to eat as I was eating my food there was a dead leaf mixed into my food I ended up throwing it away I never had any issues at other locations I never go to this location ever again not only was the place not cleaned inside trash all on the floor tables were not cleaned bathroom was trash everywhere it smelled horrible I was disappointed in how they kept the place so I was concerned after seeing all this I wa concerned how the food was gonna be after I already ordered and paid for it I took it home as I was eating the small portion they gave me I noticed a dead leaf was mixed into my food and a dead cockroach as well I never had issues at other locations and I will never ever go to this location ever again also when I tired to complain on the app they didn’t even say sorry or try to fix this issue. And I see that chipotle pays their workers $15 and hour are you kidding me and this how they do their job by not cleaning or caring about the food they serve I can get better service and better food at McDonald’s and comparing McDonald’s to chipotle now that’s saying something no wonder why chipotle got in trouble before probably have more locations like this disgusting chipotle on Lorain ave in...
