Levant Shawarma is the kind of place you might walk right past— but you’d miss some good food.
There’s nothing flashy about the décor. Just a few simple tables, the soft hum of a fridge, and the inviting aroma of the food and that homely feeling hits you the moment you step through the door. It’s humble, and refreshingly honest about what it is: a place for good food.
The star of the show, of course, is the shawarma—and it’s phenomenal. Tender, perfectly seasoned meat, sliced fresh off the spit, wrapped in warm, pillowy pita, and drizzled with rich, garlic sauce and tangy pickles that cut right through the savory flavors. Every bite tastes like it was made with care and tradition. Even the fries are spot on.
The service is equally memorable—not because it’s polished or rehearsed, but because it’s genuinely friendly. You’re greeted with a smile, and it’s not unusual for the staff to remember your order or ask how your day is going. It feels like visiting someone’s kitchen, not just eating at...
Read moreWas very excited when they first opened. Food is very good but we were just there and I ordered a large garlic dip but was given a large hummus. I caught it as soon as we got to the car and walked right back in so my order could be fixed and I was made to feel as if I ordered the wrong thing and it was my fault. I have purchased garlic dip several times never hummus just a personal preference so I know exactly what I asked for. I told them that I didn't open the package and as we were leaving someone SCREAMED " they still have to throw it away". I understand that but again I was given the wrong thing, I did not order the wrong thing. If it would have been my mistake I would have paid for the correct thing. Will not return due to this. They absolutely tried to make me feel it was my error and it was NOT.
Response: Whoever screamed at me leaving "didn't need all that". I wouldn't have left this review if it wasn't for him. Maybe you should address that issue. Whoever it was cost...
Read moreLevant Shawarma is a newer Mediterranean restaurant that offers halal chicken and beef items including shawarma, kefta kabobs and burgers. We ordered the shawarma chicken and also mixed chicken/beef plates with 2 sides. We tried the baba ghanoush, Fatoush salad and vegetable rice. Everything we had was very nicely flavored and generously portioned. They make the shawarma in house and all the ingredients are made fresh daily. We loved the toum/garlic sauce. The baba ghanoush was one of the best I’ve had in a long time; smoky flavor, a nice drizzle of good olive oil served with warm pitas! YUM!
We then tried the Dubai cheesecake which was very nice with chocolate drizzle and a crunchy top. They make delicious mohalbea which is a Syrian desert pudding. It was very good too.
Adib the owner nicely greeted us and also served us all our food. His shop and seating area was very clean, neat and tidy. We really enjoyed dining there and would definitely...
