This place is not what it used to be for sure! I was excited about trying it again after so many years, but I was disappointed, very disappointed. I had wing dinners with fries and slaw and a beef Polish boy The Sauce....let's talk about thst first...it was not good at all. It was there I could see it, but there was no flavor at all! Like none! I think the wings were fair, but the sauce took away from it. it tasted watered down and unappealing. The Polishboy was very sloppily made with too much of everything on it. it didn't taste good at all. We didn't eat it after tasting it. The fries mediocre and the slaw were the same. I didn't care much for it. It was not worth the price. They stay busy, I must say, but I think it's because there's not many choices nearby, so it's easy for people to go to. I was going to give it another shot on mothers Day. But they closed early at 9:30pm instead of 10pm like posted. So I attributed it to maybe they ran out of something or had an emergency? If you were hungry and wanted something ok, but personally, I would not recommend this place for good Soulfood. Plus, it's not very clean, mediocre, but they could do better for the money they pull in. Sadly, I don't know if I'd give it...

The worst barbecue restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio. I ordered the whole wing snack pack. I received dollar store fries, which I know for a fact that Marc's and the Dollar Tree sells. The chicken was old, dry, and black, with broken bones. My food was not edible. I thought I was really getting a treat when I opened the box and looked at the food, huh!! But, hiding behind the sauce was a food nightmare!! Oh, and I had the nerve to order coleslaw on the side, as if it was not enough to give away even more of my money!! There was even a warning sign next to the line that said "no cash refunds," and now I know why. I just gave my money away. 😣

As a matter of fact, there are no good barbecue restaurants in the Northeast area of OH. People just don't care what they sell you as long as they make money. My parents taught me that if the chicken is black around the bone, they (the sellers) didn't drain the blood while getting the chicken ready to market. Today is December 13th 2024 I tried to order a whiting dinner over the phone and I was met with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism! The person that answered the phone actually hung up on me? The customer service at this restaurant is terrible! Yesterday on the 12th I ordered over the phone the guy was a little rude but I strugged it off because I wanted to try this restaurant I ride past every day! The food was phenomenal the greens were exceptional! This is a black owned business in the neighborhood I grew up in so I tried to give them a chance but I can never eat there again! I refuse to spend my earned on money with such a rude and unpleasant people! The food was great but I can never eat there again! As a black man that tries to always support a black owned business it is true that black businesses have terrible customer service! 🤔 I wonder if I was white or any other race if I would have been met with the same type of unprofessionalism...
