Food is outrageously expensive and low quality. I guess the owners assume the community the establishment is in will take whatever they offer. They wanted to charge me $5.00 for a SINGLE order of fries. The ox tails are $20 plus, VERY SMALL, POOR QUALITY and MOSTLY fat
The service is PAINFULLY slow and not even fast food drive thru professional. Things requested to order can take up to 45 minutes to get, such as chicken and they won't precook chicken and won't take phone orders. Disorder is a constant in the line. The simplest purchase can take up to 10 minutes. The woman working the register doesn't understand requests and/or forgets as soon as you tell her, especially if you're asking for more than one item. The cook doesn't understand her due to her poor communication. She doesn't know the prices of anything. Overall, it's jusrlt absolutely awful. Just another example and reason why I don't frequent places like this. You try to support, but the owners of these kinds of establishments act like people of color don't deserve good efficient services or reasonable prices. Especially those coming from other places setting up shop in black American communities. It's unfortunate. The poor quality, astronomical prices and bad service betrays the poor...
Read moreWent to the one on Quincy! First time I went, I had no problem! I ordered a large pepper steak and rice. (the steak isn't really steak and I got a piece of pepper lol) paid $17 and it came with cabbage. The very next day I went in and ordered the same exact thing and the lady ringing folks out didn't know the price so I said yesterday I paid $17 and she rudely was like "I'm not listening to what price you give me" and she proceeds to call the owner and he states its $20 so I paid and went about my business, Opened up my food to see the "steak" was from the day before, the rice was dried out because she tried putting the juice from the steak over it but grabbed all the stuff that settled to the bottom :\ and had no cabbage (TF)! Then, my coworker tells me they are the same people from Harvard Express they just rebrand to Pin Pin ( I wouldn't have...
Read moreNormally I try my best not to leave reviews unless they're positive but in this instance I have to leave a review I work too hard for my money and when I do spend it I prefer to spend it on quality over quantity however that's not the case with this place.
Ordered a large half jerk half curry chicken entree with more cabbage than rice I smelled something that kind of smelled burnt in the car but I wasn't totally sure until I opened it up.
Add to my surprise the jerk chicken was totally dried out 😞 the curry chicken wasn't so bad.
The fact that they know the food is dried out and they're still willing to put people a plate together is beyond baffling to me.
I gave them another shot I won't be giving them another one trust me do yourself a favor and find quality Jamaican...
