Dingo's Den — Restaurant in Clifton

Never in my life!!!! I usually go to this bar on a Friday or Saturday never had a problem only once before this with the same bartender -I went there Sunday night 09/03/2023 and the only bartender there was the worst and very disrespectful to all the customers there!! my husband was asking to be served for 2 beers she immediately ignore him -he then went down the bar to get service when she immediately served another guy and completely ignore my husband-then she proceeded to have another guy kicked out due to him complaining for her lack of service and her being disrespectful towards him the guy that dragged him out did not even work there-she proceeded to try to get us kicked out -when her friend refused she started to then insult us -she called me names like t@at and C@nt- i then asked her name but she did not want to give to me -for her to still have a job there just shows you what kind of business this bar is running-as we proceeded to leave we had customers tell us that she acts like this all the time -I will be reporting this bar to the better business bureau and every other site I can leave a review on and warn everyone not...

I love the visuals in the bar and the aesthetic, but they don’t have a standard protocol for carding people. Bartender with glasses and brown hair gave me a tough time for my Connecticut license- Offered to show my medical license but she still proceeds to rant about how she doesn’t think it’s valid and she’s gonna “lose her job.” She Asked for a debit card and is going off on a rant in front of everyone as to why my license expires so far in advance- check the laws, the real ID’s expiration dates tend to be farther off. bartender then grabs boss who confirms it’s real and tries to make better conversation to lighten the mood. Then the same bartender proceeds to not card ANYONE ELSE in the bar who came in, young or old, and they weren’t regulars. Hypocrisy at its finest. Won’t recommend this place to...

I on occasion may stop there on a Friday or Saturday (sometimes after seeing a band/concert/show or new wave dance event across the street at Dingbatz- same owners). This bar has a nice cool vibe to it on the weekends with people of all ages there. Would say the bar usually draws more of a 20s to 40 crowd but me at the ripe age of a young 57 feels comfortable there.. Music via jukebox is always playing there and usually appeals to me (leaning toward rock, alternative, punk - depending on the taste of whomever fed the internet based jukebox). Bartenders are friendly, attentive and drinks are reasonably priced. They do have food and do have a night menu too to satisfy your munchies after 10pm. It's not ritzy and I'm more of a low key and dive bar person anyway so this places is good...
