If you’re craving authentic Mexican flavors in Lebanon, NJ, Los Chilitos is a fantastic choice. I recently tried their Salsa Verde Enchiladas, and they truly impressed me. The enchiladas were perfectly balanced-the tangy, slightly spicy salsa verde sauce complemented the tender, cheesy filling beautifully. Each bite was rich with flavor but not overwhelming, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to quality and tradition.
What really elevated the experience were the complimentary chips served at the start of the meal. They were fresh, crispy, and seasoned just right, making them an addictive appetizer that set the tone for the meal.
One highlight worth mentioning is their hot sauce-it packs a flavorful punch without overpowering the dishes. If you enjoy a bit of heat, I highly recommend adding a few drops to your enchiladas or chips. It adds a smoky, spicy kick that enhances the overall flavor profile without masking the authentic tastes.
The atmosphere at Los Chilitos is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Lebanon, this spot is definitely worth a visit for anyone who appreciates genuine Mexican cuisine with a little extra...

The food, decor and music here is absolutely wonderful and eating there was quite an authentic experience. The staff is super friendly and they carry some popular Mexican sodas. Their tongue tacos were so tender and on point and their tres leches cake was to die for.
We made it a point to re-visit this restaurant after a trip to a nearby cidery a few days ago and it was still a delicious experience. This time we had the enchiladas verdes and their house special quesadillas (with brisket I believe) and they were beyond great. Highly recommended if you want some excellent...

Well here goes, excuse any repetition...Great little place with a few tables of all sizes that fill up quickly at lunch time. "The food?", you ask, well it's as authentic as you think it could get. Just be aware that Mexico has 14 "states" all with very unique cooking styles and ingredients so calling them just typical "Mexican" is like calling all Spanish speaking people "Hispanic". Nonetheless a lot of American favorites, just remember quite genuine so be mindful of los chilitos (the peppers) and ask for the mild version...
