Nick's Country Oven — Restaurant in Clinton Township

The food here is trash, and that's the bottom line: a complete waste of money. I ordered the s'mores French toast, and they didn't even pretend to cook it. They simply toasted some stale bread and put marshmallows and graham crackers on top. You couldn't even detect the graham cracker flavor, which leads me to believe they used a cheap, off-brand cracker instead of high-quality Nabisco. They could have at least turned the graham cracker and marshmallow into a compote or milled the crackers. The presentation was just lazy. I could have gone to the grocery store myself, crunched up some graham crackers, and put marshmallows on top for less than $13. I won't ever visit this place again. It's a shame to charge those kinds of prices and serve garbage food...

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I used to love this place and have always gone to their other location on 26 mile, was happy that they made one near me. I came in today for breakfast, my crepes came extremely cold after taking a bite . They went to the back, microwaved them. I asked for them to be remade, and then they brought them back with just the one I bit off remade, and the other two were the old microwaved ones. Absolutely rude and disgusting service! The waitress lied to me saying they remade them, when it was clearly visible that it was not. This place is beyond disgusting. I will never be back after years of supporting this business. So disgusting!!! So sick!!! Absolutely sickening...

The broiled cod is excellent and so is the lemon chicken. There are large portions of food, enough to take some home. The spinach pie is amazing comes with rice pilaf and your choice of soup or salad. They also have lunch and senior specials for only $10. Excellent service, great food, huge portions, low prices, cozy atmosphere. Their clam chowder and beef barley soups are so delicious. I have been going there since they opened in June and will continue to go. I highly recommend this restaurant, perfect...
