Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Clinton Township

The first time the food was perfect and we tried to go back. Two times after that we tried calling and the girl on the phone was having a hard time taking the order even after repeating it back several times. Then she says 45 minutes to pick up 3 lunch combos #1 (bambino pizza and small bread) at the 1 hr mark she didn't even throw the pizzas in yet and she didn't have any other orders and yes that happened twice. I'm all about hey things happen but if I try to order from here and 2 out of 3 xs I'm waiting and having problems gid forbid if they actually got a big order. I understand short staffed but at least freaking try to put my order in the oven before the time you quoted me. I'm sorry the one time I was able to get my order the food was good. But over an hr for a carry out and especially when they said they had no other orders the times we came in.I will be taking this place off my list until they improve. I don't have all day to wait...

I love papa Romanos food but the customer service at this specific location has been unfortunate every time I go in. No hello’s, how are you’s? Just a straight up “name?” This usually wouldn’t bother me but tonight at 5:00pm on 9/6 I order online and all of my cards aren’t working. I figure it’s my WiFi, no big deal. I go in to pay with my card and the gentleman’s response was “We aren’t taking card. Only cash.” I asked if this was why the website wasn’t working with my card and he says yes. I had to drive down the road to get cash. I asked how long this has been going on and if they could’ve posted something about it whether in store or online and how long it’d last because it felt Inconvenient. He proceeded to chuck my pizza on the counter, shrug as his answer and not apologize or acknowledge what I had asked or said. It felt a little disheartening and not an interaction I enjoyed or felt valued...

This place has good food, however the business aspect of things needs improvement. I only order from here and have it delivered to my work. Twice, we ordered for corporate meetings, to be delivered on time for a scheduled lunch. Both times, the delivery was 30-40 minutes late, causing us to have to fill in the empty time, and then work through lunch. The second time, not only was the delivery very late, they also "gave away" part of our order and had to improvise by making us something different. The last time I ordered, was just 2 pita's, and this time the delivery took almost an hour and a half. When I called to check on the status, I was told the driver just left, (they are two blocks away) and they didnt arrive until 20 minutes later.
