Bojangles — Restaurant in Clinton

Of the 3 locations in the county, this one is by far the superior choice. Here's why: This location never makes me wait for chicken. I don't know why a place that only sells chicken runs out of chicken but the locations in Laurens and on the interstate have both done this recently. Not the one in town though. From my observations, it's about management knowing their community and caring about being of service rather than convincing others they can explain away their failure. Quality. No matter the opinion on point 1 above, there is no reason why there should be inconsistent quality in the product. But... There is! This location (in town in Clinton) just makes better food. Weird, right? Since around 2015, when there were only two that I knew of, this has always been the case. It isn't about the ages or the culture of the employees. That has changed a few times over the years. But the food is still far better here. Baffling. Friendliness. No matter who you are or how good you are at your job, you can be kind and friendly. If Bojangles is too much for you to maintain basic human decency, go work in an environment that doesn't require you to see the customer. Milliken has been hiring for years if you don't mind a pay cut.

I'm sitting here in the drive threw 05/17 at 931 pm ( I've been sitting here for going on 40 min already) I ordered a 12p tailgate told that it would be 20 min for the chicken to cook(fine by me I enjoy fresh chicken) however as soon as we pull up someone tapes a sign to the door that says lobby closed due to lack of staff(weird because there is 4 people and what appears to be a manager sitting on their phones and dancing singing at one of the tables. So two or three more people go threw the dr threw and now the manager come out to my car and say that they gave my side mash patatos away at 921pm and that it will take another 20 minutes to cook me what I ordered and that puts them past time to close ummm okay the sign says the store closes at 10pm.... guess who paid for a meal has waited over almost an hr and still doesn't get what was ordered and pretty much told sorry outta luck when someone finally rings the food out at 940 me!!! I will never eat at this place agin a waste of time horrible service wouldn't even give one star. Oh and the last time I tried this place months ago we didn't receive our biscuits and told that we were liars!...

Went in this morning with my Papa (who is legally blind) the person who took our order was named Lisa I believe she may be a manager. She was extremely rude. She was busy talking with other employees while attempting to take his order continued to get it wrong and she got a attitude with my Papa then when he attempted to hand her the money she dropped some of it and refused to reach a few inches and pick it up. I ended up gathering the money she dropped and gave it to her. By time she started my order she was in such a bad mood the people behind us noticed and walked out. It's sad that a manager would act in such a way towards a elderly man. This isn't the first encounter with this employee either she is rude all the time. Also the food was cold, fries was hard and over cooked. Coffee was cold and when we asked for more they acted as if it was to much of a chore for them. He decided to just get a soda instead. Unfortunately we will no longer do our weekly breakfast at this location until the management...
