I only go if someone else insists. EVERY time I go, I get sick after. I tend to be okay with the taco salad. I realize it's as authentic mexican cuisine as the Chinese food places around here are actual chinese cuisine, but I've had better experiences at taco bell, on average.

The last time I went, my 7 year old begged me to. She gets the kids cheese quesodilla with curly fries and only eats the fries, will eat nothing else. I figured I'd give it another shot, tried to order something different than the usual. Still bad, the tortilla tasted SOUR, idk how that's even a thing? Sour as in, gone bad, not as in lime or something. The chips were SO stale. I asked if we could get a fresh bowl of chips, he insisted they were fresh, but he wasn't real convincing. I know what a stale chip is... the next batch came the same. Well, the queso dip, refried beans, the rice, side salads, they're all fine. So 2 stars.

I did get tummy trouble later, as usual. I'm not the only one with an issue like this with the food, the gentleman that owned it before was great, he owns the Broncos in woodruff and the senior garcias in laurens. He has essentially the same menu, but it's actually very nice! Fresh too. I've known those guys as our local broncos owners since they opened abt 20 years ago in woodruff. If I was him, I would insist that (his cousin?) Take the senior garcias name off of the restaurant in clinton.

Also, be sure to visit the bathroom BEFORE you get there. Trust me. And if you do wind up with an emergency, your kid has to go, whatever, GO TO THE LIBRARY 2 DOORS DOWN. The smell is profound. I'm not sure why, but they've always had trouble in the bathrooms there. It could be the bulding? But there's no money being put into fixing it as yet. So steer very clear, if you want to keep an apitite.

I feel bad leaving such a strong review but seriously, people need to say something, and be aware....

Normally I really enjoy this place but they did me pretty dirty today. I called to place a to-go order around 9:10pm (they close at 10pm) they answered the phone but wouldn't say anything. Then they left the phone on so when I tried to call back it went straight to voicemail. (This isnt the first time they did the phone thing to me) But this is the first time they disrespected me with the phone and then stood at the door rudely and wouldn't let me in when I drove up to place a to-go order. The lady didn't even bother to open the door and say they closed early or anything. She stood there and shook her head at me and mouthed No. I arrived around 9:25pm. So it was over 30 mins before they close. Usually I try to get to a place at least an hour before they close but I had to work late. If she would have answered the phone and said they stopped taking orders I wouldn't have wasted time by driving 15 min up to the restaurant. Hopefully management reads this and has a talking with employees on how to treat customers and also how to properly use a phone. As a regular customer I'm pretty disappointed with my treatment today and won't be coming...

Me and my husband are new to the area and we decided to try this place. We saw that there were quite a few cars in the parking lot so we thought that it would be good. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted warmly at all. No one said “please follow me” to show us to our table. We just had to assume and the 2 ladies working the front area seemed annoyed at us. The waitress was friendly and took our drink orders. As we looked through the menu, they were so gross! All the pages stuck together and the lamination was peeling off. At least wipe them off between customers!! The smell was nauseating in the restaurant, it was hot outside and it was just mildly cool inside. I told my husband that I really didn’t want to eat here especially because I wasn’t even sure at this point if the food would be good and I didn’t want to spend my money on it. The waitress brought our drinks and chips and salsa. The chips were so stale and the salsa tasted like it was out of a jar. We left 5 bucks on the table just to not be rude and we got up and left.
