Don Agustin Restaurant — Restaurant in Clinton

I first met the owners when they were about to open the restaurant. I was delivering for Pizza Hut from next door. They ordered and I delivered. We met and I loved them!

After that, they opened and we would trade food between restaurants--with mangers' permission. :)

Anyways, after all these years, I continue to go. I carry their business cards to pass out. To this day, I even love the pens they gave out for the business.

Tonight, I showed up at 8:45 PM (they close at 9:00 PM!) There were no eye rolls, nobody made me feel as if I was too late, or mopping or sweeping around me--hell, they took time to chat with me. I have worked at many restaurants and I know when the staff wants you away.

Both owners are always working their business. Mr. Agustín and his wife are always kind and ready to serve their patrons.

If you have a chance to visit, please do.

I LOVE their guacamole and chips, and tonight I ordered it with Carne Asada with rice and beans. I asked if they could make it spicy ... guess what?

No problem.

I got a great spicy meal.

Please, try Don Agustín's, if you don't enjoy it, move on; if you enjoy it, get ready for more.

Anyways, I'll leave it there because I could go on about everything at Don Agustín's restaurant. They work hard, they cook great food, and they are proud of what they do.

This was my first time visiting this establishment and I must say, IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The quality and authenticity of the food and the exceptional service and atmosphere culminated in a phenomenal experience.

I visited Don Agustin Restaurant at 11:30am (EST) on a Saturday. I was greeted warmly and seated immediately. The waitress promptly brought me some chips and salsa, the menu, and my beverage (truly remarkable salsa; may be spicy for some people). They graciously gave me time to review their menu and took my order as soon as I was ready.

I ordered their Chicken Fajita Quesadilla with rice and a side of queso. The quesadilla was LOADED with succulent chicken and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. The rice was very well prepared and complimented the quesadilla wonderfully. I also added some of their queso dip on the rice and it was simply incredible!

last night was our third visit to Don Agustin's place... wanted to average our dining experiences there to most accurately write a review. EVERY time, they 'hit the ball out of the park'! the food is DELICIOUS, the service is first rate, and the VERY affable Don Agustin himself is evidently always there and INVOLVED, making it a point to check on the satisfaction of his diners. we drive down from Fayetteville JUST to eat there - IMHO, it is THAT good! i HOPE he is able to open a location in F-ville at some point in the future - his success (given how fantastic his Clinton operation is) is virtually guaranteed! give this place a try if you're ever in Clinton, folks - you will NOT be...
