Wa Chang Buffet — Restaurant in Clinton

Well, first off, I was greeted by the staff as I walked in. For a buffet restaurant, I was surprised at how clean it was kept. The tables, floor, and buffet area were very clean. The food was very good, not overcooked, and I sampled a few items from there. The chicken dishes were very delicious, and the egg rolls were very good, not greasy they were crisp and delicious. The fried dumplings were awesome. They tasted as if they were hand-made from a homemade recipe. They were very tasty. Overall, I most likely will be back, I enjoyed my visit. I read a lot of the reviews from other patrons and felt that this restaurant didn't get a fair rating. Some of the one star ratings from past customers seem as if they are entitled and just need to trash peoples businesses to make them feel like they are some kind of victim of society....read their other reviews they post online about other places. They literally complain about everywhere they go... They will never be happy in life... They are all doomed to an agonizing self-inflicted hell that they have designed for themselves... must be a sad life. Too bad google doesn't let businesses rate some of their customers. HORRIBLE OLD FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE

Reply: 9:10pm was when I walked in, rude waitress says, “we close at 9:20, oh no what time is it? 9:13 ? oh no we close at 9:10”...rude to say the least Your sign says 10pm and I sat writing my review in the car long enough to witness a couple come in for seating. There were 4 tables of customers already seated. Be fair and good to all of your customers as it takes only 1 person to ruin your business.

Update Went back during the day with hopes of upgrading this to a more positive review as it has received many views, unfortunately it was even worse. This food is horrible, the place looks grungy. Could offer more food choices. Like plain fried rice should not have eggs in it, because some people like myself are allergic to eggs. Should offer one with eggs and without eggs. Shrimp was dropped into other foods on the buffet, which causes cross contamination and makes it to where other people can't eat it if they are allergic to shrimp. As I and my family was eating in here, the waitress was sweeping and vacuuming the floors around us and others while we were trying to eat. Very unsanitary, this should be done when there is no customers in the dining area. Mopping the floors around the bars when customers are trying to get their food, no wet floor signs put up. Very unsafe, especially for the elderly people, who could slip and fall...
