So no ill feelings to the new ownership, called Jaeger Bombs..And there's an explainable reason for a 2 star review..New family owners are very nice people..But, in wisdom, the cheating was astounding. Almost manipulative to get a new business up and running..The outside bar still says Big Sal and Cheesies.This primary Google site still up and running..No indication new ownership..By them..Then it was Daisies and both operations were lackluster. Told this ownership transitioned one year ago..Jaeger Bombs Facebook has no menu. But clearly some manipulation of new to old menu and prices on google..Then Big Sal and Cheesies Facebook still operating in a trifecta way. It's so dishonest. When ordering food takeout, I was astounded to how a bill for 3 menu items could be 40 dollars..Nearly 13 dollars without side, and nickling and diming charge for onions, pickles ,lettuce.. Didn't order bacon, but got that( not everybody likes bacon on a classic cheeseburger)..Not a picky eater, bit that bacon tainted the burger even taking it off..Got tomatoes I didn't order but didn't get upcharged for that. Lettuce charged for, pennies compared to tomatoes..So many oddities happening here..BLT nearly one fifth the size of a half pound cheeseburger yet still 10 bucks with no side..Can smart people see the math here..Combo basket, 14 bucks. Those items frozen cisco type sides, not worth it. A sampler plate is supposed to be more affordable. You're buying in marketing terms, in bulk, the more you buy, the lesser the rate..14 for that, not the worst. But quality overall on everything did not justify 40 dollars. It's clintonville for gosh sakes. In this town, in this bar, I don't care what you claim inflationary prices..Good luck to the vault restaurant. That will fail as fast as the up and coming new mathews supper club..When you charge 15 for burger and fries, it better be one of the best damn burgers in life.. It better be succulent, hidden seasoning, technique. Something signature..The but compared to that should have been 7.50 with fries..Beef is twice the price of pork..Dont tug on the heartstrings of hard working people..The crowd is aging baby boomers, or kids that still live in the parents basement that spend their parents money..This isn't a restaurant, it's a bar. Alcohol makes money..The bill should have been 20 to 25..On Friday, the beautiful Walter's supper club , walley, three big pieces, baked potato, um no charge for sour cream and butter, soup, salad bar to go by the way, peas, eggs, cheese, tuna pasta salad, hot bacon dressing, the list goes on, 21 dollars..Half the flipping price. The most famous bar around, boondocks symko, half the price..I might have drinks in your bar, but scared to see those prices..But never food again. And you should take this review very seriously.Theres a reason this bar has utterly failed in family, and you guys up the anty.Its classic set up for failure..when you don't get me in to eat nor drink, you just lost 40 of my friends, family. Their families you fail to attract. YOU CANT AFFORD THIS..15 dollar burgers do not work. Never did, never will. It's a recipe for disaster..Its like lotzamotza pizza. Big and fat doesn't mean good..And lastly, I paid 20 bucks just to have a pizza delivered..You should have told your family member and me, we deliver free in your range. 2 bucks goes back to the deliverer plus tip. We came here for burgers on deer hunting opener. They were fabulous as always. Hand made seasoned perfectly patties. Also had the best spicy bloody mary. Thad is a great bar tender and says he's worked on tweaking the recipe. It shows and he nailed it. And I've tried bloodys at least a dozen local bars and this is the best. And he didn't have to over do it on toppings to cover up a terrible drink. He also wore gloves and paid attention to cleanliness. Highly recommend. I've never been...

I was passing thru clintonville and needed a place to eat during this pandemic. We were hoping to find a restaurant that was locally owned versus a chain spot, and I’m glad we found here!! The pizza was absolutely delicious, thick crust and fresh ingredients. My friends burger was cooked perfectly and you could tell the buns were a higher quality.
