This used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Too many times as of recently we have been failed. Guillermo was our server tonight. After sitting a few minutes he approached us and took our orders. He was quick to bring us our drinks, and said he forgot the bread and would bring it out. We ordered a salad as one of our sides and he was timely to bring that out as well, still forgetting the bread. No problems yet I understood and he was also quick to bring the bread out right after. The bread was hard and not hot and the butter was too cold to spread. My wife and I ordered Ribeyes, one medium and the other medium well. Both steaks came out well done and had no juice or flavor. Really dry. My baked potato was also dry and had no butter on it and only a small spoonful of sour cream. Guillermo was nowhere to be seen so we went ahead and ate it anyways even though it was not to our liking because we were starving when we arrived. After a very long while, Guillermo finally resurfaced and apologized and said thanks for being patient while he was taking a break. He took a break and left us there with nobody else helping us out! Unbelievable and unprofessional!! We were done eating for awhile by now and playing on our phones waiting for him and we were never offered any drink refills or any other service while our waiter was on break. Guillermo cleared some of our table and brought us our check. After about another five minutes of waiting around, Guillermo finally comes back to collect payment and the rest of our plates. He brought back my card and receipt very quickly and just as quickly as he said thanks, he was back out of our sight and in the back. I paid $85.97 and still gave Guillermo a $12 tip on top of that even though my wife and I were extremely unsatisfied. We arrived at 7:25pm and we didn't leave until 8:38pm. I've had bad experiences here before, but this last trip was by far the worst service I've had at Outback and definitely one of the worst I've ever had from any restaurant. I'm giving two stars and not one because my son said the ribs he ordered was okay and he liked the fries. That seemed to be the only positive thing that came out of this visit.
*Update. Within 48 hours of me writing this review, I received an email claiming they take these reviews seriously and would be in touch with me. It has now been two months since I've written this, and I have yet to hear anything at all as they claimed. I will not be visiting here again until someone has contacted me as...
Read moreI am from out of town and wanted to take my Dad who lives in the area to a steakhouse for his birthday. We decided on Outback. Called ahead in plenty of time, group of 9, and they could accommodate. HUGE MISTAKE!!! We got seated at the time they told us, so we were very pleased with that but from there nothing good at all! First off, we waited for some time for our drinks which were rather simple 3 Waters, 1 tea, 2 lemonade, 3 cokes. We ordered 2 blooming onions as appetizers and waited. We got 7 of the 9 drinks. They brought out our 6 house salads which those who had salads said they were good, once we received our silverware. We actually sat about 5 minutes waiting for our silverware staring at our salads. We asked about our blooming onions and asked for some bread and the 2 lemonade. The waiter then brings the lemonade which the 2 who had them took a couple sips and said they were watered terribly! Next time the waiter comes with 6 of the 8 meals. No blooming onions yet and no bread yet. My sister ordered a medium well steak and it was sent back due to being rare, not even medium rare! When she gets her steak back it was definitely cooked- well done!😳 We asked for the bread again, and also told them to not bring our blooming onions due to the fact we are now eating our meals. My dad and his friend who came along with him ordered sweet potatoes and they were shameful to even serve! They were about 2 inches round! The smallest potatoes I have ever seen served. I thought it was mushrooms they had sent out instead. On top of that, the waiter stood at one end of the table and we handed the drinks down to the other end instead of him walking around which there was plenty of room to do so. He did this also with the silverware. We, after eating, the waiter brings us the bread and 1 burnt blooming onion on the house - we were not charged for it. I don't know what they are smokin' there. I think he expected a congratulations for bringing out the bread and blooming onion. We, being a polite family automatically say "thank you" with very little complaints. I would understand if they were busy but it was not really busy at all. I doubt I ever eat at this Outback again!! I was totally disappointed with the service, not only the waiter but the cooking as well🤢 So disappointed to drive 2 1/2 hours on my Dad's 79th birthday for this!!! Total time at Outback - not by choice - a little...
Read moreFirst off let me say something the food that we did get, amazing. I love their ribs. Always have. My wife's steak was cooked wonderfully. The service is where the average is literally pushing my rating to a 3 star rating. To start while waiting for our table because they were understandably busy (Father's day) the 3 hostesses were very loudly talking about guests that had finished eating and not left yet and just sat there talking and made their job harder. Then I had asked for an alcoholic drink to go with my non alcoholic one for the second time and my wife once for me as well when it still wasn't brought out I gave up asking. My Mac n cheese side that wasn't brought out with the rest of our food. A simple mistake but when I asked it to be brought out I had hoped a sense of urgency not when I was nearly done with the rest. Last but not least my wife's salad the we had hoped would've been brought out before her food with at least one politle reminding was never brought out at all. But at least she did take that off of the bill. Big chain restaurants this is why typically my wife and I don't go to them anymore because something tends to get lost when they're so ridiculously rich that it won't affect them even slightly if a few customers never come back because of poor service. Whereas your local ones thrive and survive off of good reviews and positive word of mouth. I'd say we will never return but likely someday it will likely happen as an invite to something from someone. Not that that would have much of an impact. I'd give less stars if I was truly that heartless but their food genuinely is good. So maybe it'll just have to be order up on the app and pick up so we don't have to deal with poor wait staff. I even still tipped because I have a soft spot for a job I once had over 20 years ago and knew that I lived literally off of those tips. But never again will I sit in an Outback steakhouse. I'll order their food and pick...
