First time picking up food from this location, we always have free delivery. No wonder their delivery time has doubled. They are on the very outskirts of Clive. It's a long drive.

The food is worth the trip and we were already out running errands when we decided to pick it up ourselves, but from now on, it's strictly delivery for us, lol.

I also have increased my tip for the driver, especially in the freezing temperatures we've been having this year. It's too cold & far away for me to want to pick it up, so I better be showing my appreciation for having someone else do what I won't do.

Considering the incredibly low prices for very large portions, it's easy to give a decent tip. With no minimum order and no fee, I don't think tipping between $8-10 is really all that much.

Their cheese tortellini is crazy good. Only $10 with your choice of sauce, I get either the vegetarian or meat sauce, & a large amount of garlic bread sticks, I don't know how they can sell it for that low price. The portion is huge and it's covered in thick gooey cheese. Best tortellini in town, better than any Italian restaurant I've eaten in.

My sister loves thin crust pizza but prefers their pan style pizza. It's not what I consider normal pan pizza, which I find too thick. It's more like a nice thick crust and the base is regular thickness. We all think it's the best style to order.

When it comes to their chicken wings, the bbq rocks, never have bad wings here. I'm not a buffalo style fan, at all, so I can't recommend them, but at $10, if you are, I'd imagine you would think they're a fantastic bargain. My mom always orders the bbq and it was always my go-to order, until I tried the tortellini that is, lol. Before that, I pretty much ordered the gyro sandwich with extra cucumber sauce. It was always fantastic and I'm not sure why I haven't ordered that in a long time.

I can't imagine that you'd be disappointed in this place. We order, on average, twice a month. It's just that good...great food, great prices, great customer service...what more could you ask for....

You can order online and earn points & $10 off your order. You also get $1 off orders if you take a survey (after you get your order) which takes no time to do at all. I call in my orders just because I like talking to the employees. I know, that really makes no sense, but our orders are so low priced, I'd feel guilty about the bill being any lower than it is. I don't know how they make a large profit. We can't be the only people ordering for 4 people.

We have ordered several times in the past few months for delivery. In the past couple of months our pizzas have been dropped TWICE. We called both times and even sent pictures to them on request the first time. Nothing was ever done about it by Sarpinos owner or staff. We didn't order from them again for a couple of months. Being forgiving people, we decided to give them another chance. This time was on the 17th of December 2017 and our pizzas were dropped again....this time worse than the first time. We called again and was assured that the owner would be contacted and our account would be credited for 2 pizzas. Two weeks later....today....we were putting in our online order and saw that our account was not credited for the two pizzas that were dropped by the delivery driver. We called and talked to the owner and she wouldn't credit them without the manager saying that he remembered this conversation. Of course, he couldn't remember. So, the OWNER said she couldn't credit us for the dropped pizzas because her manager couldn't remember! SHE IS THE OWNER!! CAN'T SHE MAKE A DECISION FOR HER OWN BUSINESS?! Needless to say, I will NEVER order at this establishment again! Check your pizza upon delivery before the driver leaves because they will act like they don't know what you are talking about if you complain later. Good pizza.....bad business. I would steer clear of delivery at this location....pickup only unless you like dropped pizza.

Update.....3 weeks later.

I just read the owners response to my review and what a joke. If you look through the reviews and read the owner's responses they are pretty much the same......"after looking into this matter, we only find where you ordered on such and such a date from this number, but we couldn't find your name" and so on. Same thing for every negative post. The owners are a joke and have no intention of making anything right!

The "significant"offer that I was offered was 10 percent of my next order! WHAT?! They destroyed my pizza on 2 separate occasions.....even sent pictures of the first one to them! Why would I want to order another pizza from a place that has destroyed my pizza on 2 occasions and does nothing to remedy the problem?! This place is a joke.....move on to another establishment if you really want...

I had the most bizarre and unprofessional experience with this pizza establishment tonight. Order #637 placed at 5:43 PM on 2/17/23. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for carry out. When we got home we recognized the pizza did not have pepperoni and contacted the store. We were told a correctly made pizza would be delivered as well as a free 2 liter of coke. 5 min later the manager calls and tells me he personally witnessed the pizza made, and was 100% sure pepperoni was on the pizza. He told me we would get no new pizza and when I voiced my frustration he told me they refused to provide service to me and hung up the phone. I called several times and they refused to talk or answer questions. I then brought the pizza in to be inspected and the manager angrily grabbed the pizza tore off the cheese and offered a replacement pizza after realizing there was no pepperoni. He told me that his guy who made the pizza told him it was made with pepperoni, admitting he had lied about witnessing the pizza being made. He refused to apologize, and accused me of cursing at him, another blatant lie. The manager told me his name was Robert, I’m doubtful this was his name. In total my family spent over an hour traveling back and forth to get a simple pepperoni pizza, wasting valuable time in our family night (we have young kids). I implore this establishment to take corrective action for this unacceptable incident. It is the most unprofessional behavior I’ve experienced. I also implore others to consider this incident when choosing a pizza establishment. I have never been so poorly treated.

**update: thanks for the response! If you can make it right, I’m willing to take down the review, because prior to this I’ve enjoyed Sarpino’s, and think your pizza taste good. I was bummed bc I don’t really like scratching your business off my list. But it was very upsetting and def...
