Will never order again.
I placed an order through Uber eats for my kids and they were running a special BOGO, so I did that. When I received just 1 chicken box and 1 coleslaw container, I called to inquire (NICELY).
A professional guy answered the phone and told me that I need to take it up with Uber eats, and something about how it is configured on their menu in the app... I am sure that I ordered the BOGO option, but regardless some people/businesses just cannot adapt to American customer service no matter how much time they spend in this country + decided to start a business. I cannot be criticized on this remark, because I, myself, was not born in the US and only became a citizen about 10 years ago. But when I decided to move here and do business here, I embraced the American way of doing business and lifestyle. I've built and sold many businesses in different fields and I know the value of customer service especially in a B2C business model. I've traveled the world and done business in 40+ countries, so I understand the different ways of conducting business in different parts of the world. If an Amazon package is missing, they don't tell you to figure things out with UPS... It's just a few pieces of chicken and some coleslaw, and you could see in your system that I only received 1 of the 2. Besides, I did not configure your menu on Uber eats, and I doubt that Uber eats, took the time to build the entire menu for you and customize every entry to your liking, and is doing this for you on a daily basis. If they actually are doing that for you, then you should have picked up a thing or 2 from their customer service. But still, you chose not to do anything about it. You made your quick buck but you won't make another one from me.
The food, was ok, definitely had better, and no lack of similar options around here.
Is it slightly better than very few franchises, probably, but the main difference between KFC, Popeye's, Chick-fil-A, Raising Caine... and Don Chicken is customer service. That is why they are who they are, and that is why Don Chicken will always be Don Chicken.
I hope I'm wrong,...
Read more2nd or 3rd time ordering from this fairly new business! The food is top notch--my kids love the soy garlic and sweet & spicy sauce chicken. However, I discovered today that their customer service and integrity as a business is beyond. I placed an order for 1:30pm, because we had activities and wouldn't get there before then. I placed an order online for a scheduled pickup. I noticed that shortly after I got a text that the food was ready. It was before my pickup time but it wasn't too much of an issue. I picked up the food and went home not wanting to make a big deal because while the food was warm, not HOT having been prepped an hr before pickup, I knew it would still taste fine. I got home and received a call from the business apologizing that they accidentally prepped the food too early and realized just now (after I picked up) and offered a credit for the seafood ddukboki which is a dish best served hot and out of the pan. I didn't complain but they felt it wasn't up to par and made the effort to call me several times to reach me and let me know. Definitely try this place--food is great, they are super courteous and customer service is...
Read moreThe crispy boneless chicken is tender and juicy. I think i may prefer it now over wings bc it looks like im getting more meat. The large box satisfied 3 adults and 4 children with leftovers. The ddukbokki sauce was perfect but there was not enough rice cakes in there. Mostly fish cake. The portion might be better for one person. The sweet potato fries are unique and tasty.
We were the only customers so he gave us some water and sweet potato fries on the house. Its a tight and uniquely arranged place, the decor could use work to make it more dine in friendly. There are no high chairs. I hope they stay in business bc they taste better than bbq chicken down the street. Bbq chicken is pure...
