I am still scratching my head at this dining experience. We were seated promptly but not greeted for a bit of time. When we were finally greeted by our waitperson we ordered our beverages and here began the wait. We waited for the ice waters, they arrived after a good 5 minutes and our ice tea along with my blackberry gin fizz special came about 10mins later. The gin cocktail was delicious. We ordered . Usually a salad comes prior to the meal. Mine did not. I asked where it was and the waitperson said she did not know and she it would remove it from our check. We thanked her for that. As we were mid entree It was delivered to our table at no charge. Oddly enough they do not have blue cheese dressing. The ranch dressing was very good however . We ate the salad with the last part of our entree. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. Let’s discuss that. While he said it was good it was prepared with 5 small sized shrimp. Not what my shrimp loving husband was expecting. He said it was good just not worth $ 18.00 . I ordered the pan seared salmon. It also was good. It needed a sauce. Cocktail or some drizzle. The flavor was delicious but the dry. We had to ask for tea refills and I was never offered another $12.00 gin fizz. I love that they provide a carafe of water for the table. So smart and thoughtful. I could not help but notice and hear that our waitperson was very enthralled with the ladies next to us and I truly think she was just too preoccupied with them to be mindful of her other tables. We were finally offered dessert. My husband chose the carrot cake and wouldn’t you know it they were out. It was still listed on the board . The waitperson went onto embellish that they had run out of banana pudding and cakes at other times. That to me would warrant better preparations and product ordering in advance based upon previous sales. But whatever. Overall, I applaud the menu, portion size ( shrimp and grits) not so much per price point. This is Clover, SC not Charlotte, NC. We support all local businesses and maybe they were just off a bit. We will return and know now what to expect.

We checked out Clover Harvest for the first time this evening for our weekly Wednesday date night. The service staff were exceptionally hospitable from the moment we stepped in the door, quickly greeting us and giving us seating options. we chose to sit outside on the heated patio. This quaint size of both the interior and exterior I really loved, the tables are nicely spaced and we happened to sit between two other lovely sets of people that we discussed our choices of food over. The food was excellent. We started with the charcuterie, and it was so beautiful I honestly didn't want to touch it 😂. Everything on it was fresh and clearly specifically curated to be the well rounded selection of things that it included. My husband got the shrimp and grits, which he has ranked as his favorite shrimp and grits ever. I got the pork chop with the brussel salad and the fingerling potatoes. We both agreed everything was delicious. The lemon cheesecake is the best dessert, take my word for it. I highly recommend checking out this little gem of a place Clover has. I know we will certainly be back.

This place! Deceiving from the outside and absolutely gorgeous inside. They have a back outside area with a private area for small gatherings and space for the kids to run around and burn some energy. I had the pork schnitzel with mashed sweet potatoes and roasted zucchini. Everything was nothing short of AMAZING! My wife went outside of her comfort zone with the blackened shrimp and grits. WOW! All I can say. First time having this and it's going to be almost impossible to match it. Dessert was their blackberry cake with an icing and blackberry compote that I cannot put in to words. That's how delicious it was! We got to talk with the owner John and he could not have been more friendly and explained the back story of the establishment and how it came to be. Whether you're in the area or not, this place is worth the trip for a delicious meal! First time we've really had a farm to table experience and I can't WAIT to come back and work thru their menu. They also do a Saturday and Sunday brunch which we'll be there for sooner than later!
