When I moved from Texas to Springfield, I was worried I would have to give up good barbecue. I'm happy to say I was wrong! We came to the Public House near closing and missed out on the brisket (Next time!!), but I had a chicken and sausage plate with mac and cheese, and my partner had sausage and ribs with mashed potatoes with potato salad. The spices in the sausage were phenomenal, the chicken was fall apart tender, and the ribs were almost certainly the intoxicating aroma that drew us in. The sides were fantastic, too, with a particular highlight for the sassy cornbread with a pleasant kick.
