Phoenix Bistro — Restaurant in Cohasset

I am very happy to see a new Asian restaurant open in Cohasset. We placed an order for pick-up and decided to try some of the "old time favorites" to start with. The order was ready on time, well packaged and hot. I have always had a weakness for Egg Rolls and I am happy to say they were a solid A-, not greasy at all but maybe a smidge too salty. We also ordered Moo-Shi Shrimp-also a touch too salty but otherwise tasty and fresh with excellent thin pancakes.The Egg Foo Young was also tasty, not too salty at all but the gravy was bland (as is almost always the case, oh well). The House Fried Rice was good, Chicken Skewers were only ok-I prefer breast meat and was surprised they were boneless thighs. Overall I would give it a solid B-B+, it scratched that itch I occasionally have for Chinese food. I tend to be fussy and decent quality Chinese is frustratingly difficult to locate without driving to Quincy. I wanted to try these basics to start. Small Chinese restaurant in Stop & Shop Plaza Cohasset. We got the house special fried rice, pu pu platter for one and Singapore rice noodle with shrimp. The food quality is definitely better than typical Chinese. It just seems cleaner and less greasy. Shrimp was definitely better quality than other Chinese restaurants. Full bar and sushi as well. I didn’t eat inside, but it looked really awesome! We were skeptical about going here because feng shui was disgusting. So we went all out and ordered sushi/Chinese food.
