Victoria's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Cohasset

Love/hate relationship with Victoria's. Love: food and pizza. It's honestly the best fast/casual food I've had. Hate: price and customer experience. It's SOOOOO expensive to order pizza/salad. One large pizza and two salads is like $50-$60 when it's all said and done. I say customer experience and not customer service because in part, I think a lot of the issue has to do with their app. It's got SO many options that it doesn't often make it clear what to order (you can order spaghetti and meatballs and it wants you to spend 5 min picking out a pasta....I was spaghetti!). Specifically, we ordered steak salads last time. Normally we get steak tips but I saw a cheaper option for steak and selected it. 5 min later we got an angry call explaining that's not the option we wanted and steak tips would be $5 more/each salad. He wanted the credit card info again and I asked him if he could let it slide since we order every week and he was very demanding that wasn't possible. First off, I will recommend Victoria’s in general - friendly service, good people, good “house of pizza” style pizza, offer delivery, and good option for serving a party… Nothing special, but gets the job done BUT I’m writing this review to warn you off their roast beef. I’ve never had an out-and-out BAD sub from Victoria’s (mediocre, yes. Good, yes.) until TODAY! I got a roast beef sub today that was absolutely not worth the money! It won’t make you sick, but please don’t order it. It’s very brown. Very thick. Very stringy. Not at all the thinly sliced, succulent pink roast beef you’re craving (and expect!) In addition there was not a lot of meat on the roll. (Although the meat was so off putting, I guess in the end that was a good thing) Just stick with pizza or an Italian sub when you come here. Incredibly disappointed by the attitude of staff and the way our pizza was packaged at the new location. Google states that the restaurant closes at 9PM and I received a phone call at 8:10PM saying they were closing and that we had to come get our food. My husband arrived at 8:15 PM and the entrance lights were off and it was clear that we were “inconveniencing” staff when they rushed our food to us. Do not treat customers this way when a shop clearly states in multiple places that it doesn’t close for another 45 minutes. To add insult to injury, two of our slices were completely inedible as they shoved our pizza into a box that was too small and the pizza was completely folded over on itself.
