McDonald's — Restaurant in Coldwater

2/2/25, 11ish am, ordered a simple meal, no extras, sandwich, fry, and drink. Easy right. As almost always please pull to the front of the building and we will bring it out. As I sit and watch everyone who has pulled in, exit with their food, I continue to wait. While two, count them TWO other cars are asked to pull ahead as well, and the employee who brings their food out, looks at the purchase order taped to my mirror and says, "no, this isn't yours" and proceeds to give the food to the correct customers in cars that I had watched pull in 5, 10, even fifteen minutes after I had already pulled up. I ask myself, is this employee struggling with a memory lose issue, as she clearly has seen me everytime she has been out here, surely she will mention it to someone upon returning into this glorious "fast" food establishment. As I look at my purchase order receipt I realize, I've sat here 20 minutes, so I call, because I used the "drive thru" not the "drive thru and walk in" line. Young lady that answers, clearly confused by my request, (as I think she was just short of asking me to punch the clock and prepare my meal myself), finally agreed and said they would have it right out. She was correct, it was out in THREE minutes after we had hung up. Ready, brace yourself, SAME employee who had been out numerous times, saying, "nope, not yours" brought my "simple" meal to me. Here you go, she says. No apologies from the anyone, just a 23 minute wait for an overpriced, unhealthy, sandwich and lukewarm fries. 23 minutes! Lost money that day, thinking, I'll grab a quick bite to eat. Very rarely eat fast food, but sure do know, and meet, alot of people, and this establishment will NOT be getting rave...

OK. I know it's a McDonalds. I know it's a chain. I know its in the middle of nowhere... But its a pretty awesome location.

The people that own the franchise in this area really care about the hometown people. The space showcases local sports memorabilia and is always decorated for the holiday/season.

But I think my absolute favorite thing about this location is breakfast on the weekends. Not because I'm a morning person (I'm not) and not because McD's breakfast is awesome (it is) but because if you eat in you get real place settings! Coffee in a mug? check. with someone who will walk around and get you refills? Double check. Order the big breakfast platter and actually get it on... well... a platter? Yeah this place is kinda cool like that.

Also, they have one of the only RedBox rentals...

Wow! What can I say to properly illustrate my satisfaction in my dining experience. The food blew me away in every aspect. My bun was fluffed, my burger was juicy, and the sauce was respectfully distributed. Don’t even ask me about the fries. They were perfectly dusted in salty goodness, they were freshly pulled from the fryer, with a crisp golden crust. The free large sugar free French vanilla iced coffee that I received from my reward points was astonishing. It truly blew me away. This high classified establishment is simply jubilant. 99.8/100, thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion on this fine dining experience. Hechooo, bless you, thank you,...
