Wow! Wow! Wow! OK first of all, this gem of a sushi place is INSANELY good! I was looking forward to trying it out so I prepared like an athlete!!! I worked out for an hour in the morning, did not eat anything all day, then arrived at Ninja Sushi around 5.

When you walk in you will notice how clean, modern, and beautiful the restaurant is with a gorgeous mural on the wall. I was seated right away and placed my orders. I got the Godzilla roll, Spicy Girl roll with Jalapeño, Baltimore Roll, and Ninja Roll. I also ordered calamari.

You guys...

The sushi was beyond delicious! I love sushi, so I often go to downtown Silver Spring or DC, but Ninja Sushi tastes like the best sushi you've ever had. Each bite had my mouth and eyes watering because it was so good. Not even kidding Lol. It was fresh and flavorful with yummy ginger and Wasabi. I like that their ginger is white and not pink.

I love it here! Today they had fresh SEA URCHIN!! Omg it was soooo good. I also had the fatty tuna and Carpaccio.

The Ninja roll had a delicious creamy, crunchy mix going on and I literally devoured it. The Baltimore roll had a lot of combinations of flavors that were really good. The Godzilla roll comes topped with lots of mango and also a yummy crunchy creamy mix. I thought the mango made it very refreshing with a hint of sweet and sour. The Spicy Girl roll is topped with jalapeño and has a nice tang and spice to it

Overall it was so amazing. I literally left the restaurant with the biggest smile on my face. The place was so nice, clean, and relaxing. My servers Elaine and Crystal were so kind and personable with great conversation. I felt like family from the moment I sat down.

I will most definitely be back....maybe...

Overall for sushi, this place does compete with places such as Fuji Japan in Layhill. For this review I will go based on the order of food, service then atmosphere.

I was a bit disappointed that the veggie Tempura didn't use the same panko batter as the shrimp Tempura. Shrimp Tempura was definitely good and on par of what Tempura should be. All the rolls we ordered were not over the top, but the menu did lack a lot of description of what some of the rolls were. We did order a bowl of beef udon soup, which would fit well for a palette of a child (very mild flavor to almost boiled water with a scoop of beef boullion, i.e. not worth getting for someone looking to get their ramen or udon fix). Portions were decent and the prices are expected for what you get.

Service was prompt and very accommodating to our party of 8. I assumed because we ordered quite a bit for our party, it was a nice surprise to receive an "on the house" plate of sushi. The only thing that wasn't picked up on our order was the 2 bowls of miso soup, could have been a simple missed mistake, but it wasn't busy and it was easy to wave the staff down to remind them.

Atmosphere was clean, simple and no loud background music, so having a conversation with your party is very inviting. I would definitely come back as a place to converse with friends and with decent food.

3.5 out 5 for me as an overall grade. More importantly, would I come here again? Yes to get my simple sushi fix, but if I have a larger craving, I would...

This place is One of a Kind and very unique . This is called Ninja Sushi . This place as You Enter in , Its a family owned Restaurant which I have been proud to know since they have been there for me since I was a teenager . I Love the food there all sort of Great Asian Foods Shrimp Tempera and More . The Sushi are their delicacies . I Love the California and Tuna Rolls with the sauces they have available . I even love the miso Soup as well to go with the meals . This place In back of the Restaurant has a sushi Bar where they show you the magic of Making Sushi Rolls By scratch . They have been helping me as a Teenage Kid to discover My Chinese Asian Heritage and Not to be afraid Of It and to embrace it proudly without Fear Despite how this Government Has been toward people Like us . I Love going there to learn all I am and being a bridge between two worlds and knowing my mixed heritages . The women who run it are My aunts and cousins . I am Extremely Greatful to them . I Love going there on Special occasions even My birthday as well . If You Love Japanese Mixed with Chinese Heritage Foods , You Will Love This Place as I do . They have great parking and Indoor dining and also Take out and Curbside pick up depending on that Customer's taste how they wish to order food . I wish I could Work for my family there someday soon and embrace my family legacy fully to make them proud of me and carry the weight what they do there . I Love My family there and I know so will all of you...

Such a great experience. Surprisingly, there was not a lot of guests eating here on a Saturday night. There is a lovely single rosebud on each table to begin the event. The sushi was fresh, fresh fresh. Plus, the presentation was very unexpected and quite cool. Tonight's meal was quaint. Started with the Green Salad with the Ginger dressing. Dressing could have been a tad thicker but the flavors you expect from the dressing were still hitting all the marks. Surprise treats galore we experienced. To start with a spicy roll, not sure of the name. You'll have to visit to see if you're the lucky recipient of one yourself. It was complimentary and arrived after salad and before our rolls. We tried the Silver Spring roll, obviously. It was good, not exploding in flavors but good. Had the Rainbow roll as well. Classic. Spicy Girl roll as well, nice! Best one. 👌 Finally, when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, she brings another surprise treat -- the complimentary dessert. A small cake with a coffee- flavored infused frosting. It was a very nice dinner.
