My son and I had breakfast this morning, Monday, December 26, 2022 at 8:50. I ordered an omelette with wheat toast and hashbrowns. You can see a picture below. The toast was black beyond burnt as were the home , inedible. I asked for toast that was not burnt And I eventually got it. The omelette was small and dense, very unappealing and not very tasty. I only ate a little bit of it. My son has biscuits and gravy . He was also not fond of his meal. He said the biscuits tasted like red lobster biscuits. There was a small amount of gravy on it so he asked if he could have a little more. Waitress just went back and checked and came back and said they had no more. Now it is 9 o’clock in the morning and people are still coming in and there’s only four things on the menu, so it’s hard for me to believe that they are out of gravy. We will continue go to come back to the Hilton Garden Inn, we probably will not eat it at the restaurant again. I mentioned it to the waitress that it was not very edible and she seem disinterested in my opinion. I did mention it to the person at the desk when I was checking out and she asked me if I would like to have something else to go but we did not have the time. As this is the first time eating breakfast there, I cannot recommend it to anybody. It’s probably the worst breakfast I have ever had And the cost is $30 for the two of us. and I think they should also ask us if we’re help me members a.m. I did not feel that they cared about me whatsoever. So...

We ate here on a Saturday night, and as we walked into the Hilton Garden Inn, the lobby area was being refurbished, which I think is normally where the restaurant is located?

Instead, we were directed to a converted private room/banquet space. We arrived around 6:10 and there was only one other guest In the space. The space was definitely lacking in any real atmosphere with vacuums, and make-shift service areas. Our server was mostly attentive, but it seems as if restaurant staff was embarrassed by the setting as there was rarely any staffer around.

I could forgive the location given the renovations, if the food was stellar. Sadly, the food was lacking too. The antipasto was fine. My wife and daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs and the sauce was overly sweet. I had the gnocchi and grilled chicken. It was ok at best? Not sure who thought it was a good idea to have the gnocchi swimming in a bowl of cheese sauce? It was way too heavy.

We overheard another couple who came in while we were there who had to send back their lasagna dish because it was not cooked through.

I would avoid this...

The food was really good, I would come back specifically for the food the service however was extremely disappointing for the price point. I had Kitty as my server and came in around 7:30 am. I ordered a mimosa and handed her my ID and she seemed confused by the dates then returned my ID and came back a few minutes later to ask to scan it. I was willing to shake that off, it happens, whatever. I received my food and she didn’t once check in. I would have enjoyed some butter with my toast and even a refill on my mimosa and I wasn’t even halfway through my meal when she dropped off my check. I was given no option of any other beverages, not even a water. I would be willing to come back but as a fellow server, I expect some sort of communication instead of the...

My family and I made a last minute reservation during Arts Fest week and we are so glad that we did! Charles was our server and he was kind and attentive, giving excellent service. I had the delicious gemelli, which had a garlic white wine sauce and shrimp, my mother had the beautiful mushroom risotto (which was stunning) and my husband had Nonna's spaghetti and meatballs. We all loved our meals and would order each again (a marker I always use to indicate how much I enjoy a meal). My mother ordered the tiramisu for dessert, which l'm usually indifferent about but it was delicious. I'm excited to have this Italian gem as part of our State College community!
