Tommy's Tavern — Restaurant in Collingdale

This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:

Awesome cheesy garlic flatbread; very good half bbq chicken; best French dip ever; awesome fries; very good burgers; excellent sweet potato tots with marshmallow sauce; very good pizza; very good Caesar (get extra dressing); awesome Cherry Coke ribs; excellent pulled pork; great chips (get side of bbq); amazing toffee dessert.

The staff is amazing. Super friendly and attentive. It has a good loyalty program. We’ve already received some rewards. Beware though. It has a sports bar vibe and can get pretty noisy. The food is outstanding. I’d be surprised if they made anything that we didn’t like....

It gets busy here, sometimes it's so crowded that everyone is close together. Everyone does their own thing but I did notice that some people's energy is off in there every time I go so I don't go as much as I used to go. Sometimes the bartenders seem a little ignorant. They'll serve a man before I get serviced when I walk in first and don't acknowledge me. I don't like that part. Makes the tip go back out the door with me. The food is delicious. This has been my favorite bar in Delco since I was 21!! I'm 42 now lol. The crowd is very versatile and everyone gets along if ur there to have fun! Mostly everyone knows each other!! Just treat people how u wanna be treated, it's that simple!! They play great music, they charge very reasonable for drinks and food (which are all made greatly).
