I am a Councilman in Delco, I’ve given this restaurant multiple chances over the past two years, hoping for consistency, but unfortunately, the false advertising continues. I recently ordered 2 pieces of fried whiting and 6 sautéed pick-and-peel shrimp (containing garlic), served over rice that was advertised to include onions, red and green peppers, and broccoli. However, when I picked up my order, the shrimp were nothing like what was described they looked boiled rather than sautéed, and the rice lacked the promised onions and peppers.

This issue isn’t new time and again, I’ve encountered discrepancies between what is advertised and what is actually provided. Initially, I ordered through Uber Eats, but after repeated incorrect orders, I chose to pick up my food in person, only to experience the same problem.

Restaurants should uphold honest advertising and deliver what they promise to customers. Transparency and consistency are key to building trust. I hope this establishment acknowledges this ongoing issue and makes the necessary changes to provide customers with accurate and reliable service. Sharon Hill and Darby Borough, please stop eating at this restaurant until...

Ordered from this place countless times over the years and the food is overpriced but really good! Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this place for delivery after a poor experience.

We placed an order for 4 platters and got an EMAIL, not a phone call like a decent restaurant would do, telling us that a whole platter was not able to be fulfilled. This happens to even the best restaurants but normally they would call and say “hey, something you ordered isn’t available. What would you like instead?” Instead, an easy-to-miss email came through 10 minutes after I placed the order so I called Slice and they were happy to help but the restaurant REFUSED to replace the platter because my order was already packaged and waiting for the driver. They said I would have to place another order along with the additional delivery fee and tip. I spent over $90 at this place and they can’t just make another platter and ask the driver to wait for it or get another driver to take both?! After I’ve been coming there for years?! Yeah, no. In 2024 I’m not giving business to businesses that don’t value my money...

The service was just okay….. I asked for my rice platter to not have onions and peppers , she told me that she could only do it because it was my first time coming there. If that is the case i’ll probably not order this again but I HATE onions and peppers. I got the Salmon fried rice with spinach i wanted to add chicken but I couldn’t do that so I had to Add another platter so I got Jerk Chicken Platter with macaroni and cheese and yams. The Macaroni wasn’t cheesy AT ALL. The yams were not sweet either. When I got my platter I STILL had onions and peppers in my platter ……… My friend got salmon and chicken alfredo , she asked the lady if she could get extra sauce with it ( we were MORE than willing to pay for it ) and she told her , we don’t sell ANYBODY asked sauce , our alfredo creamy enough ! when my friend got her food , she said it in fact was not creamy enough to her liking and it was more so watery.
