Chow's is in the downtown area of Collingswood. It's a "Main Street" type of situation, so looking for street parking could be a problem. However, I found a small public parking lot, with free parking for about an hour, just a block away.
Chow's is a hybrid Chinese place. Half of it is a Chinese takeout and half of it is a sit-down dining area. This evening, we opted for dining in. I thought service was okay, even if a bit laconic. Their General Tso's Chicken, from the chef's specials part of the menu, was really good though. One downside of dining in is their dine-in menu is missing the combination platters. I would have preferred to get the food with fried rice and egg roll but that simply wasn't offered...
Read moreI like their cheap sushi platters. I do not like that they mixed up my order and tried giving me salmon roll instead of salmon roe (salmon eggs). I ordered online and it was printed out in front of them. I still had to tell them it was wrong. And when I returned home to eat it, it was hard and I hope I do not get sick from it since they're supposed to be squishy. I do not buy miso soup from them ever because I feel like its tasteless or burnt everytime.
