Chow's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Collingswood

Chow's is in the downtown area of Collingswood. It's a "Main Street" type of situation, so looking for street parking could be a problem. However, I found a small public parking lot, with free parking for about an hour, just a block away.

Chow's is a hybrid Chinese place. Half of it is a Chinese takeout and half of it is a sit-down dining area. This evening, we opted for dining in. I thought service was okay, even if a bit laconic. Their General Tso's Chicken, from the chef's specials part of the menu, was really good though. One downside of dining in is their dine-in menu is missing the combination platters. I would have preferred to get the food with fried rice and egg roll but that simply wasn't offered...

I like their cheap sushi platters. I do not like that they mixed up my order and tried giving me salmon roll instead of salmon roe (salmon eggs). I ordered online and it was printed out in front of them. I still had to tell them it was wrong. And when I returned home to eat it, it was hard and I hope I do not get sick from it since they're supposed to be squishy. I do not buy miso soup from them ever because I feel like its tasteless or burnt everytime. Plus, they're online prices are different (quoted me less online when I ordered) and they will not change the price online or give me the THEIR...

If I could give this place no stars I would, this place is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. My partner and I were so disgusted with everything. We order General tso chicken, crab cheese Wonton, pork fried rice and a egg role. Everything tasted spoiled and rotten. We contact grub hub which turned into this whole deal. The women at the front gave us the store owner number he was very rude and disrespectful we tried to speak with him, once he had enough he hung up the phone. Long story short, if you want to get food poising this is the place...
