We entered this cute little spot with excitement and were thoroughly disappointed by the time we left. Firstly, the person at the register seemed more annoyed that we interrupted his phone scrolling time than he did willing to help. When I asked questions about a few pastries, his responses came across like I was inconveniencing him rather than wanting to be helpful. Secondly, the food. My husband ordered the bread pudding which was very dense and left much to be desired. I ordered a ham + cheese sandwich that at first glance looked delicious. Until I cut it in half + bit into it and noticed there was only two small slices of ham and one thin slice of cheese, which would have been ok in a croissant but it was on a fairly big roll that obviously needed a bit more filling than what they gave. The initial interaction was so off putting that we decided to not even complain before leaving but rather write this review. I rarely put lower than 4 stars on a review but after spending $12 on two small items and leaving completely unsatisfied, I felt it necessary to express our experience. The aesthetic is nice when you walk past the door but everything else was underwhelming to say the least.

We stopped in because we saw the chocolate croissant in the window. The server was very attentive to us. Also bought a scone. We were disappointed in the price but saw the 4.7 stars rating and said well it will be worth it. We were wrong. The scone was heavy, DRY and flavorless. The croissant ... I think I forgot to put the truck running. The little smidge of torch chocolate was delicious. But it could have used 10 times the amounts to make it worth the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I’ve been to Dulce on 2 occasions, on trips over the bridge from Philly. I’ve found their staff approachable, even welcoming, and their assortment somewhat plentiful - for the time of day (after 12:00) both times. I’d recommend. They’re fairly conveniently located as well. And with abundant parking in the rear, what’s not to like?

Very recent experience, just hour ago. My friend and I stop by to get some sweets after delicious breakfast at Sabrina. So we decided to get macaroons cookies and croissants, the sales person or owner, whoever is he said all is fresh and bla, bla, bla. Since you can’t eat inside we got our stuff and find nice place outside front steps of some nice building. WHAT a BIG disappointment! The macaroons cookies hard like a stone and with no taste! The croissant dry and taste less. Not even close to croissants! I think Wawa selling better croissants! I went back to the bakery and tell all about. The sales / owner had very not pleasant attitude, he said that here they make the stuff for their liking???? What that is ?! I don’t know? He did not offer any return or such.no apologies I should demand the money back. In any other business, they apologize at least what they can do. And mostly without any arguments make the client happy. Not at that shop. Well I figured I will give some reviews. My advise,...

Wonderful bakery!! The pastries and bread are incredible and you can taste the quality. It was my first time in an Artisan bakery, so I asked the man behind the counter, Miles, to explain the different options available. Miles went above and beyond kindly explaining each pastry available for purchase that day, what specialty loaves are baked on which days, and so much more. I didn’t feel rushed and he had such a genuine, kind attitude. I winded up purchasing the most delicious cheesecake and a loaf of sourdough! Everything was presented so beautifully, and Miles even took the time to put all of the goods (including a takeout container I brought from another local restaurant) in a bag for me. I highly recommend this bakery to everyone because they truly have...
