Osaka — Restaurant in Collingswood

So food and atmosphere was great. When we arrived for our reservation we were told where to go all that. The hibachi cook was amazing and the food was great. Was talking to wife about coming back here for a date night but thats where the good pretty much ends for me. The servers/waitresses seemed like they were rushing us with ordering and seemed very impatient and annoyed which thats how it came across. Then after paying with my credit card and tipping on there cause I didn't have cash on me. (Didn't know I was going to last minute or I would have cash on me to tip with). So after paying my sister in law had to get change so we could split our bill. Now granted we had a big party with 4 separate checks and I know working in the service industry myself how hard that can be sometimes. So now after paying and tipping on my credit card cause again didn't have cash on me they started bugging me for a cash tip even though I pointed out on the receipt multiple times I tipped on my credit card so they hassled me multiple times for a cash tip. That is very unprofessional to do for this reason service gets a 1 star. Also due to that I will not be returning here. I really hope for others this is an isolated incident for future patrons who go there. Cause with how good everything was that was a huge let down that the servers just seemed annoyed when we didn't ask for anything special especially for my father inlaws 60th birthday. But my point being the service from the servers was very unprofessional. The hibachi cook was absolutely amazing and the food was excellent. But due to the servers and how they acted annoyed then bugging for a cash tip when they were already tipped, the chef was even tipped by us. So due to the servers I will not be returning here. So my overall star rating is 3 which really it should be 5 but the servers ruined that....

Had the kids with us so decided to take them to check out dinner and a show. Hibachi was it and Osaka was the perfect place. The food was great and the show was a lot of fun for the kids. There were a lot of kids in the hibachi area so perfect side to let’s the kids eat and enjoy themselves.

My family of four did the hibachi dinner for four ($110) and chose the shrimp, chicken, and short rib. My wife also picked out a sushi roll. (The sushi roll was really good so maybe next time we go back and get sushi.). First the chef was fun. A little bit of banter and put on a little show for the kids. Lots of dancing spatulas and some fireworks. The chicken was eh (don’t need to order that next time), the shrimp was good, but the rib eye was fantastic: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The vegetables and fried rice are pretty much hibachi staples and were good too. The service was impeccable; multiple people came back to check if we could use or needed anything else and my water cup was always full.
