I went to Subway today and experienced horrible customer service, I usually go to the one on my side of town but since I was already in the parking lot of an unfamiliar one, I decided to go in. Something told me to turn around but I didn't listen, I asked for the usual and then began to make my sandwich then decided to use my coupon offer for buy one footlong and 30 oz drink and get one footlong free. When I mentioned it both the clerk and the manager looked confused. The manager then asked to look at it and said sure you can use it and then asked me to press redeem. I thought this was odd because I'd used coupons before and I knew that you should press redeem during checkout and not before due to the timer beginning. Hesitantly I pressed redeem and hoped that I could finish both sandwiches before the timer since the manager asked me to. I'm thinking "is this the first time someone has used a coupon here?" As soon as I pressed redeem, he walked away and the timer began, I sat my phone down by the register in case he needed to see it when he returned to the register. After thinking about it, I grabbed it because I didn't want to forget it was there and then something happen to it. He came back and said," did you redeem it?" I said yes and showed him that now it shows "this offer is no longer valid" indicating that I redeemed the offer that I showed him earlier and instead of entering the order into the system like every other Subway and giving me a total , he said "well it says no longer valid, sorry." I couldn't believe it. Of course it says no longer valid, this is what it is supposed to say after you redeem the coupon at the register like you asked me to so that you can see that I won't be able to use it again. He said, I will get you some sort of coupon before you leave for the inconvenience, which ended up being the coupon that prints on everyone's receipt and was no use to me. I don't need a coupon for a discounted 6 inch starting tomorrow. I want my free footlong and 30 oz drink today like I am supposed to get. I don't know if he just didn't know what he was doing or if he just didn't want someone to get a deal. Either way, I will never go back to that Subway and considering not going to others for a while. It literally left a bad taste...
Read moreDO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. You have been warned. Manager is a dick and a cheat. He also purposly embarrassed his new employees in front of several customers including myself. While the manager watched over the young woman making my sandwich, he waited untill she was completely done and the ripped the entire contents of the sandwich off and to the side, explaining that he is going to use this as a training exercise (neveremind the 5 customers who have been waiting at least 15 minutes already behind me) I said ok. He began to make the sandwich in a way I have never seen before layering the meat so the bacon was on the bottom( I ordered a subway melt delux). I asked for it to be at the top so it could get cooked while it is tosted. He argued and said this was the only way to make a sandwich "his way" is literally what he said. I gave up because I just wanted to get out of there. Also the deluxe order comes with %50 more meat, the manager shorted me 2 pieces of bacon and argued that bacon was not included in the %50 more meat, and that he could give it to me but it would cost an extra $2. I have ordered the same order from subways all around CO Springs and never had any of these issues as this manager stated was "standard". So I left 20 minutes later angered that I spent half my lunch hour arguing with a dick Indian guy over a simple subway sandwich. I felt terrible for his employees because I get to leave, they have to put up with his b.s. all day. Not sure who hires location managers but someone dropped the ball on this guy. Great job Subway. Won't be eating at any of your store...
Read moreI've been to the subway on 1714 s circle twice. The first time there was a single worker there and it was fairly busy but she was still welcoming and did her job In the most professional manner.
The second time However, there were two workers in there. One younger guy who moved slow, spoke quietly and seemed to not know the basics of his job. The other guy spoke to a buddy of his most of the time, messed up other customers orders and was talking so much I could see spit leave his mouth and onto the sandwiches. I ordered the hot pastrami melt and it was so put together so sloppily that I asked if the meat could be dispersed so that I didn't have to eat 12 inches of hard bread and the guy with the language barrier started yelling at me, demeaning me, calling me pet names and cutting me off from speaking. I've since contacted customer support and was supposed to be contacted within 2 business days. I haven't and dont believe I will so, if the franchise owner wont attempt to resolve the issue with the employee at this location, I'd rather do my diligence and let anyone having a good day with an appetite for subway know that this location is not the one you want to go to. I've been to two other subway stations since and they've both had awesome...
