Before entering the store, I noticed the right entry door is still boarded up. I decided to place my order via the app at 2:43 pm. While waiting, I noticed the floors and tables are fairly dirty (see pictures). The windows appeared to not be washed for several days as well. After 13 minutes of waiting, I decided to go to the counter to inquire about my order. The first crew member approached me, I asked her about my order and she proceeded to gather the manager to assist. The manager turned around and grabbed my order and handed it to me. I'm unsure how long my food sat on the counter but no one announced the order was ready and the app did not notify me either. I took the food to my car and immediately inspected both sandwiches. They were hot, as if they were freshly made. After one bite, I was impressed that the sandwich was cooked well, a little soggy in the crust because it did sit a few minutes. The crew added the right amount of condiments and the sandwich was enjoyable to eat. The strawberry sweet tea was quite sweet and tasted like strawberries and Cane sugar was added. There was very little ice in the drink but I preferred little ice so they scored a win with the drink. I was not impressed by the customer service I received at the pick-up counter. The staff wasn't friendly and appeared as if there was a language barrier preventing us from communication properly. They also exhibited very little enthusiasm and a lack of willingness to assist. Overall, the experience was a mixed bag, again, at this location. Besides specialty, what is needed with this crew is a little retaining and some teamwork, as well as some cleanliness, reminders throughout the day. There's always something to clean at a restaurant, so standing around is unnecessary. There's no excuse for a dirty restaurant; it ruins the atmosphere and breeds germs and bacteria, which is harmful when cooking raw meat. The only reason I gave this location a second chance was to assess whether it's safe to eat here. I would err on the side of caution and order inside the lobby to have an experience yourselves. It's a lazy day at Popeyes, y'all. If there's something else to eat in the area, seek that option first. 2.5 stars, at best. Update: I've received a response from the owner of the restaurant. As a courtesy, I am willing to review this restaurant a third time, somewhere in the future, to see if they are truly intent upon providing a better customer experience. My visit did not meet my expectations, nor would it meet the expectations of the hungry crowds exiting US-24. Being in such a busy area, one would think there would be a crowd at this location. Alas, the parking lot was nearly empty. The best advice given to me as a reviewer was to never eat at a restaurant with an empty parking lot. We shall see if this holds true upon my next visit. Good luck.

Google wanted me to update this review but since they gave me food that was not at temperature again and I was there 15 minutes before close - that's really the only difference in my review, so basically I went again many years later and had the same experience! I went 25 minutes before close, I ordered a 3 piece MILD chicken- no side and tea. My cup leaked the whole way home! So after I cleaned that up and l got in to see what's in the box since I ordered a mild breast, leg and wing - I was told I could wait 15 min, but the drive to the widow changed that so with 3 people in the lobby, me in drive thru, and 20 min to close - they decided to toss the batter so they could get home sooner! They had all the sides out of ther steam table! They also had many chairs up on tabled. When I got home I had some tea that didn't leak, a burnt and spicy leg and breast + they wouldn't make anything so they gave me an undercooked spicy tender, no biscuit, one napkin and 2 reciepts for my food and 1 credit card receipt from some who ordered 3 min before me! I said 6 times that spicy food makes me sick/I can't eat it - and that's all they gave me. I called 4 times to complain, ask for a refund/replasement, but as I said before although they didn't close until 10 on weekrandmmmm they were too busy cleaning to het the phone, when they shouldn't have just given me whatever, especially since I said fine to waiting. I know leftovers at close are trash and it raises food cost - but that's why I said I would wait! It's rude to give me wrong food I cant eat and do it when I can't get it replaced either then or later because they answer the phone! I formally worked there, so I understand pre-close, but you have to keep what you need to make the food- if it's busy or slow - the chicken place needs to be able to make CHICKEN - until you close! Waiting for chicken is reasonable, but taking money and giving me 3 random pieces of stuff I cant even eat!

Hit or miss. The biggest issue is that they are often out of items. Still the best spicy chicken sandwich, hands down. Take a look at this one I got yesterday. Quite photo friendly!! And it tasted as good as it looks! OK... Been back on several occasions and out of items AGAIN ! I Can try calling before hand to see about the availability, but no one ever answers the phone to find out. I am extremely disappointed with how unreliable their menu items are. I pull up and see cars ahead pull away moments after getting to the window and I'm like...ugh here we go again..out of menu items as usual. After tonight and yet missing items again I'm done wasting my time. Such a shame cause when the once in a blue moon they have what I'm wanting it's really good. I'll try another location even though it is much further. :/ Update... decided to try again, was craving their spicy chicken sandwich. This time, the chicken was way smaller, much thinner, and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Asked for extra sauce, but it had maybe a teaspoon. They were out of the mac n cheese and their pies. This location is terrible, unfortunately. Bummed cause it's just up the street.

Well, the trip to this Popeyes location last night leaves Me believing that what you see is what you get. And what I got tonight is a location A work environment full of lazy and experienced workers. Whenever you enter an environment and people are standing In the kitchen, laughing, joking, and completely disengaging from other customers standing up waiting, . You know one or two things. You’re about to deal with little kids instead of adults they hired to fill spots for positions or people who generally don’t care. And this crew tonight gets the zero stars for one of the worst crews I’ve ever seen in a long time. I even put a simple list together of the order I placed for others just so they don’t get confused and make things easier on their behalf. I simply tried to make things easier for people. And they still got the order wrong. After making people wait in the lobby for over 10 minutes before even acknowledging while they played around in the back acting like they’re putting food together, they decided to take my order. Keep in mind four different workers pass me and another family and made no attempt to acknowledge our orders. Handed a guy a free drink who wasn’t even in line and ignored the rest of us.. After receiving my order 20 minutes later, without any customers through the drive-through, nor a lot of customers inside, I discovered the worst a wrong order as usual. They try to pull a fast one on me and placed small pieces that I didn’t order under the bottom of The chicken. And then when I brought it back in ,!this lady had the nerve to ask me do I have a receipt and she’s one of the main lazy workers Who was doing nothing when I entered in the first place. If you ever experience a long, wait At this location, This is why. I’ve seen some great workers at this location and they all disappear quickly. I’m not super picky about my food. However, I’m very observant to the environment i spend my money in and the people who serves it. I’ve witnessed food violations broken At this location and they are lucky I am not sharing what I’ve seen other customers complain about right in front of my eyes.. That could’ve gotten this location shut down off corporate quick. All I know is a lot of customers have been unhappy double dipping of food in properly and improper care towards customers handwashing, etc. I’ve been informed by many of my friends by names at this location on who to keep a close eye on when ordering and monitoring your food. Please be advised to check your food and make sure you are watching Your order. Because some of these people at this location, try to pull a fast one on you every time. They are aware of what people’s orders are, but a lot of these locations like this one try to consume food Or pack it quick so you don’t see it what’s going on?Especially when you’re not looking. One thing for sure, the African-American gentleman at the cash register did a good job tonight?. Even though the order wasn’t right. He made things right.. I will definitely leave him a separate Five star review later. But this crew tonight was garbage and you can tell by their demeanor and incompetence the moment you walk in. Word of advice quit playing around in the back, steady on your phones and serve people, right. A lot of us is customers are very...

We can all agree the management, Mikayla the trash bag, is all she would identify as ( obviously she knows she trash at her job , and intentionally screws people over )customer service and satisfaction here are complete trash. Poor leadership leads to poor execution. I'm surprised the place hasn't closed. It's a shame that popeyes continues to allow this type of customer treatment happen in their stores and franchises. Makes me sick I ordered through Uber Eats a family chicken meal with a picture that contained two large size for biscuits and some french fries for 29 99 mind you. For 16 chicken strips. I assumed they multiplied the 9.99 5 piece meals with sides and biscuits and drinks and added a strip. Because naturally the more you order the more you save typically. I was worried because the final description didn't allow me to pick sides so I assumed it came with what was in the picture and had my driver ask the cashier. To which they replied, yes it came with those items . Then, they didn't make enough strips supposedly, and had to make more. In truth they were over done and burnt. When I called she insisted I was wrong and had a receipt which I didn't get .. ,and then she wouldn't cancel my order . She sent my driver with the burnt strips and feels like she won. She may have gotten her dirty little hands up tonight, but we are making a huge movement to have the management team reviewed and will be suing popeyes for emotional stress and public intentional negligence , and for disrespect over the telephone. I pray all people will boycott this behavior, albeit the chicken is what we hope for to be good. because it's a 75/25% chance your visit will be typically trash anyway. It doesn't stop revenue because people enjoy the chicken that much. I sent a corporate complaint , and if something isn't done to this person " manager" ,and things take a change for the better , then I wouldn't be mad if the place caught on fire and burnt to the ground. It's a shame we have to breathe the same air, and live in the same world with people like this that operate this way. Somehow their behavior is rewarded. I really do hope Karma gets a real hold of this person and humbles her . She doesn't deserve a position of any authority nor should she be the leader of any establishment with such poor skill sets in problem solving , customer satisfaction, setting a prime example for employees, and is probably the reason the place is degrading at such a fast rate. night after night this place is a nightmare for many, despite the chicken recipe being the best in the country. ... Gross Popeyes. Sad .. one day the same thing may happen to a person with my background that could really put your establishment in danger. Thank Jesus I'm saved today because I was livid , but what choice to I have other than to let it go .. woosaa . I can only pray the right thing will happen and things be made right for me .. doubtful .......
