It’s been several months now since this happened but I think about all the time and think I should leave a review.

These people are insane. I was a regular customer for 4-5 months. Didn’t have a mask with me one day after the mandate went back into effect. Even though the day before, the owner (that I would see 2-3x week regularly) served me didn’t care at all that didn’t have one, this time when I walked in I was literally screamed at by his wife/co-owner(?). They had a box of masks, I put one on to finish ordering, was not rude whatsoever and then went outside to wait for my food on the patio. I ordered my regular, a sandwich with no mayo. Long story short, they purposely brought out a sandwich with mayo and when I said “excuse me I’m really sorry but I asked for no mayo, could you please remake this?” The owner said “sure”. 30 seconds later he returned with the exact same sandwich with a giant condiment cup overflowing with mayo on the side. I didn’t know at the time if he was being passive aggressive or was genuinely confused so I went back in to find out. After being screamed at again as a bunch of nervous customers and their poor young employee watched with sympathy they told me “Since you couldn’t read the sign on the door about the masks, we assumed you couldn’t read the menu either so you must’ve ordered wrong.” I told them I just wanted to get a refund and leave and he first refused to refund me and insisted she was making me a new, correct one now. I said I didn’t want it because I was afraid of her spitting in it at that point and then he angrily yelled in my face about how they run a professional business. Thankfully he ended up just throwing $10 at me from the register and I left. I see from some of their other reviews on here that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened with them. Had a wonderful experience today here. Met a new friend and ordered a Chai Latte that was absolutely delicious and the Turkey Avocado Sandwich and then got a sweet treat for my four year old. The gentleman serving was incredibly gracious and patient. Took my order for the sandwich after I decided I was hungry. But the biggest thing was his customer service went far beyond the call of duty: I had not checked their closing time. We came in just before they closed and stayed for a long time past closing, which I did not realize until I noticed the sign on the door as I was driving away. Cute and cozy coffee shop. The backs of the chairs have a coffee cutout. A couple super soft couches. Local art for sale on the walls and a spinning tower of cards. The young woman who greeted me was very helpful and patient with me. I got the breakfast burrito with added avocado, the chilies in it were mild. It was a little bland, but with some salt and pepper, it was good. I got a frosted coffee(coffee with icecream). It was made with ice, not just icecream. So it increased the "frosted" texture but wasn't as creamy as I was hoping for. I decided to eat outside and enjoy the view and fresh morning air. The outside seating was clean with stable furniture.
