I gave one star across the board for food, service and atmosphere.

Place is dirty with tables needing cleans and dust all over the ceiling tiles. Looks like it hasn't been deep cleaned in awhile.

Service was lacking and I know they are short staffed but didn't receive any service for refills till the end.

Lastly, I and my friend both ordered the Chimichangas with shredded beef. When we got them they had ground beef instead, which I hate in a Chimichanga. It took awhile to get our food and because I had another meeting I didn't want to wait to get it replaced. Halfway through our meal I just couldn't take it and I went up to the staff to explain that I had ordered shredded beef and ground beef was not even an option on their menu for the Chimichangas. She acted like she didn't understand my English so I showed her the menu and explained in Spanish that "Carne molida" wasn't even an option and we had asked for "carne deshebrada". Her reply was "well you ate it." To which I replied no not all of it. I expected to receive a discount since it was not what was ordered, instead she charged full price.

We get take out a lot since covid. We have gotten take out from many Mexican restaurants. They always offer us chips & salsa while we wait & water, sometimes even soda. Plus they send chips & salsa home with us. I had been here for dine in lunch previously and really liked the food. We didn't really want to go out, so we got take out. They told me 15 minutes, I arrived 15 minutes later and still had to wait a long time. I asked if there were chips & salsa & she said no, they cost extra... I was like what?! I went ahead and added it to the order. It literally wouldn't fit in the bag so she laid the bag of chips on it's side so they were spilling out all over instead of just giving me another bag. I paid, then asked for a receipt. She acted like this was a huge inconvenience! I pointed to the register tape and said can't I have that? She said no, they need it for their records. Huh?! Ok... so she says she can write me a receipt. She comes back with a kitchen ticket with just items. I said I need the prices and totals and such. She gets all irritated, writes them in and asks if that was good enough with...

I ordered a Super Burrito, Shredded Beef, with "Green Sauce" to go. On the plus side, it was ready within five minutes, and they gave a packet that had knife, spoon, fork, napkin, and salt/pepper. Not many places do that these days, and it's really nice when you've just moved in.

On the down side, the "Green Sauce" was just that - sauce. It was incredibly runny, and most of it spilled out of the take-out container into the bag. Luckily, the bag was well made and had no holes. However, I would expect something a little thicker for mexican food. The ingredients weren't spread out the best (lots of rice on one end of the burrito, lots of beans on the other end), and there could have been more toppings inside the burrito. Also, not much cheese. A decent eat, but more of a bite than a meal. Not worth the $8.50 I spent, I would expect to pay more around $6 for what I got. They could have also included some sides (like chinese restaurants do, or taco bell, or lots of other places). Perhaps a taco, or some nachos, or some mexican salad, something to make it worth the money.
