My brother asked me where I wanted to go to eat on my B-day, I chose Mickeys because it’s always been excellent in the past and he’d never been there. This experience wasn’t very good at all, matter of fact if it was my first time there I’d never go back. I think maybe this was just an off day, the waiter seemed fairly new. When I asked him about specials he had to go ask and then didn’t explain (after I specifically asked) the what the specialty T-bone was about. He didn’t tell me it’s a cut without the best part of the steak. When I got it, as you can see in the picture, in addition to it not being cooked the way I asked for it, it was missing the best part. That’s the only part of a T-bone I’ll eat. I had to get the managers attention to find our waiter to get him back over so I could send it back to be cooked more. Yet when we first sat down he came over and over, like 4 times, interrupting our conversation asking if we were ready to order. He needs to watch us for a minute, pay attention. I can see asking once or twice if we were ready, maybe if the place was busy (it wasn’t) he might not be able to watch and determine as well. He never asked how everything was, he didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. Our waiter Hector (?) seemed to want us in and out, I wasn’t impressed with any of it, nor was my brother, BUT the lady manager was helpful and explained the specialty steak I ordered was at a discounted price specifically because of the cut (missing the best part). Thats good to know, especially SINCE I SPECIFICALLY ASKED WHAT WAS SPECIAL ABOUT IT, and that’s a great option for some, but I wouldn’t have ordered it had I’d known. It will probably be a long while before I go there again, unfortunately.

Mickey's has been in business for over 50 years and there's good reason for that. I am not sure if I can find anything not to like here. They have plenty of varied seating in a casual, and comfortable environment. They also have a big parking lot, and large variety of food from Italian classics to Mexican dishes, and of course steaks!! We recently came for lunch and had such a great experience. Antanette was the best server we have had in a while and the manager stopped by to check on us too. They have a marinated top sirloin which is a must. The marinade is different every day and usually only available after 4pm. However, you may get lucky if you are there for lunch so definitely inquire. The marinade the day I was there was Hawaiian, which was pineapple, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Delicious flavor that was just the right touch. I got the Mac and cheese for my side which was perfectly portioned and creamy. It also came with soup or salad. I got salad which came in a chilled bowl and was really fresh. My hubby got the lunch steak which was really great also and the seasoned steak fries. The cocktails here are reasonably priced too. I got an apple Manhattan for $8.50 and it was delightful. We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. Maybe we will even check out the bocce court next time.

Very, very good food. My brother, my dad, and I decided to come here as we were visiting Denver for the day. I'm glad we did! My brother and I had the Porter House (24 ounce bone in) with the Garganzola Crust. First time ever trying it, and it was worth it! The Chile and the Green Chili Mac and Cheese had a bite to it, but it was very tasty, and the Mac and Cheese was creamy and cheesy. Our waitress, Araceli, did a good job, and she is the first one who's had confidence in the taste of the steak. Never had someone told me that A1 sauce wasn't needed with their steak! 😂 But im glad I ate it without it because it definitely does not need A1 sauce. Ended with a strawberry cheesecake and Grandma's Cobbler. It's worth the price of $40 and an additional $2 for the crust. I'd definitely come back again!

This isn't Texas Roadhouse and the prices look way too expensive. I will say, ounce to ounce, Mickeys has a better priced steak than Texas Roadhouse. That being said, it's not as flavorful or as tender. If you get a 6oz steak at our local Texas Roadhouse it'd run you about $15, but it's the most tender, and well seasoned sirloin you can get. At Mickey's you can only get a 12oz sirloin for $23. Outside of buying a fancy restaurant Wagyu steak Texas Roadhouse is hands down the best steak you can get in our area. Meanwhile at Mickey's, their 12oz sirloin just doesn't have a good flavor profile. I never use steak sauce but the steak was begging for some flavoring and I had to use some A1, which really didn't help what so ever. Not only that, I found myself chewing forever on it. If they properly seasoned their steak before selling it, they'd get it tenderized enough so that I didn't spend half the time chewing at it. Ended up taking half my steak home which is really disappointing. I don't plan to eat it like a steak and instead ill be cutting it up and making a sandwich out of it. Not only that, their salad was the worst. Just old and turning brown. They put no effort into it and just slapped 2 slices of peperoni on top of it. I normally finish my salad but couldn't with theirs. The Chips and Salsa were also terrible. Too much cheese in the guacamole bowl, not enough salsa, and the chips had basically no salt on them. Their burrito especial was swimming in oil and would heavily be made better with the introduction of beans inside the burrito. It was like having a sloppy joe inside a tortilla with some okayish green chili on top. I've come to Mickey's regularly over the decades, so I want them to succeed. They're just lack luster right now for the prices they charge, really need to get their chiefs inline. It's way too much money for what they're putting out there. Also, they need smaller options for their steaks. 12oz minimum for a sirloin is insane. I do like that they don't have a 20page menu anymore. One page is enough, but if you're a Sirloin restaurant, make a good Sirloin. The only saving grace to their steak is I only had one bite of gristle in the steak I ate from them. Which is a problem I'd say some place like Saltgrass has regularly. Oh their steak fries, were way too dry. Good flavoring and apparently they had the same seasoning as the steak but you wouldn't be able to tell. Some family of mine got their expensive prime rib and they seemed to enjoy it, felt more like they liked it because it was a $60 meal. After seeing it, I'd rather go to the A5 Steakhouse in Denver and get an American or Australian Wagyu steak for like $35 than to get that raw looking slab of meat that needs 2 plastic containers of sauce with it. If you're going to pay $30-$60 for a steak, you might as well get a quality cut of meat. Not some slab of meat where you throw away half of it because...

Update: It is extremely sad that the owners do not have a care about the illness and PINK fish they served. Their only solution was us to come visit again on them. Who would want to go back and eat there again when both steaks were severely under and the fish was PINK and slimy?! Not even an acknowledgement after emailing back about being ill all night amd not coming back. What a terrible anniversary dinner. The customer service was just as bad as the food served. 0 stars for sure. So sad.

This is extremely disappointing to write when Megan was nice over the phone after I had to call in disbelief after receiving absolutely rare steaks and pink cod from my fish and chips. I understand problems happen but when food comes this under so badly and we drove to go pick it up on our anniversary due to medical reasons and not being able to dine in and are told a refund isn't possible, that is wrong. I was told a revisit was my only option, I never agreed to it, I was told that was my only option by Megan and she would refund it if she could but aren't allowed to do refunds. I complained on the website and received a reply stating a revisit comp was agreed upon which ia untrue. It was my only option. After being ill all night, we have zero interest in going back which is sad. This was extremely disappointing. The fish was the absolute worst. Slimy, pink, so under when you broke into the breading. My son's steak was beyond rare, not even close to medium. I was the only one who got sick but was also the only one who ate fish before my husband said to stop when I said it tasted slimy and we broke into them all and it was all pink. Unfortunately, we will not be back but they way it was handled with how bad the food was, literally everything, is not how it should have been. We are very disappointed. They refused a refund after all of this or any reply after I was sick. Terrible experience, terrible food and even more disappointing communication from Trace who replied from the...

I took my husband and father here tonight hoping for a nice fathers day meal; there were five of us in the party. The free appetizer for first time guests was great as it was very nice to have a sample of some of their foods before purchasing. The fried pickles were absolutely wonderful. Also, they were on top of our drink refills unlike anything else I have experienced in Colorado. Unfortunately, it went downhill pretty quickly from there with our food. They asked us to check the doneness level of our steak which was nice since my husband and daughter's both were vastly underdone (still bleeding). They promptly took them back to continue cooking them and kept them in the kitchen for about thirty minutes while their sides got cold. When they finally returned them, they still weren't cooked correctly. My poor father ordered the Tabasco catfish and got a few bites in and realized it was entirely raw. I honestly don't even know how they got the breading to brown because everything else was completely uncooked. It absolutely killed his appetite and although they offered to remake it and they took it off the check, there was no way he had an appetite to eat anything else. We're really hoping he doesn't get sick from this. I was trying to give my father a nice fathers day meal and he left hungry. After all of this was said and done, we realized we never even got our dinner salads! They packed us up dessert to go instead of the salads which was nice. They staff tried their best to make it better, but we were just ready to leave at that point. Megan and Matt are both wonderful - the service was incredible. However, after spending well over $150 for a special celebration of the men in my life, it was pretty disappointing to leave there hungry but without an appetite. After passing by this place for years, I was so happy to try it out. I don't think, however, that we will ever...
