I seen all of these amazing reviews for this place and it makes sense most are the ice cream, but when it comes to the FRESH FRUIT dishes not so sure... Went for the first and last time today for Fresas Con Crema, worst decision ever. To start if a place serves fruit ex. (fruit cups, fresas con crema) it is expected to be fresh, not frozen! The strawberries were literally so frozen it hurt my teeth, tasted & looked just like the ones you get from walmart to prepare a smoothie... After paying $12 for two cups of frozen fruit in cream i went back in to ask if there were any fresh fruit available or if i can do a refund OR just give it back and get something else. i understand it’s food, but if a customer is unhappy and don’t get what they paid for it is possible for a refund. Worker told me “no the owner doesn’t like to do refunds, we only use frozen fruit not fresh” and continued with saying sorry don’t know what to to tell you. (With attitude) as if i didn’t pay and try to be nice about the whole situation.. Definitely a disgrace to all Paleterias, would recommend going to Daniela’s if only it weren’t seasonal for all of the right cultural foods. Do better next time and maybe i wouldn’t leave a review because i was honestly let down and left feeling like i wasted my money trying to support...

HAVE YOU EVER HAD ICECREAM THAT TASTE EXACTLY HOW A ROSE SMELLS? IF NOT THIS HE PLACE FOR YOU. PINÕN ICE CREAM NEEDS TO BE ON EVERYONES BUCKET LIST. Absolutly without a doubt hands down the best PALETA(ice cream) MAN to ever exist. Only open through the summer. Expect to wait because this ice cream is like nothing you've ever had before, genuinely. They have employees who speak both Spanish and English. They even have all types of chips from Mexico and dress them up with all types of toppings like nacho cheese, jalapeños, elote, and even ice cream if you're feeling adventurous. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They even sell ice cream by the pint. And again for extra effect please try the pinõn ice cream. This ice cream is delicious 😋! The owner is a little gruff (that's why 4 starts but the ice cream is definitely a 5) but that's just his demeanor. Don't worry if you go in and everyone is speaking Spanish, he speaks English too. I love going in there and hearing people use Spanish. The rose petal ice cream is just the right amount of rose, not too overpowering. If you get an ice cream with nuts, it will be full of them, not just one here and there. The fruit ice cream tastes like the fruit, no weird after taste. (I don't know enough about the drinks to give any...
