Neighborhood Market — Restaurant in Colton

I’ve been coming here almost every day before work. I usually try something different each time. The customer service has typically been good up until TODAY. Today the ball was dropped so low im disappointed in how they chose to conduct business and I’ll never return.

They’re greedy and definitely not for their patrons. I ordered a carnitas bowl. Specifically EASY beans. Paid for extra cheese (WHICH IS TWO DOLLARS BTW).

Upon receiving the bowl. It was like warm, HELLA greasy and had more BEANS than rice. Which i specifically wanted to avoid by asking for EASY beans.

I returned into the store and explained to the younger guy with the curly hair (whom typically i interact with each time I’m here). He asked if i wanted them to add another scoop of rice. I said i didn’t want it I’d rather do carne asada instead because the carnitas were so greasy. HIS RESPONSE TO ME WAS HE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME AT LEAST HALF IN ORDER TO REMAKE IT!!! Mind you, this is an entire bowl I haven’t even touched! I asked why would I pay half for something I didn’t eat instead of you remaking it??? He said because he couldn’t take it back. (Well obviously). Keep in mind this bowl itself is $15+. So you want me to pay another $7 to have it made appropriately? What a JOKE.

Crash course on customer service, if you drop the ball and your customer is not satisfied you don’t try and charge them in order to fix it! He refunded me my money instead. Which is fine. I’ll never return here again.

Not to mention the dismissive nasty attitude i recovered after explaining my disappointment on how he handled this interaction being that i do come there all the time.

So I checked this place out because it was near my job and I had to try their carne asada fries as it was a place I haven't been to and also they were $12 before tax which is a pretty good deal.

However, even though the employee asked me if I wanted everything on the fries, there was something on them I didn't expect because I've never had carne asada fries that had beans! Now I hate beans personally, and whenever I ordered stuff like burritos I will go out of my way to request no beans but you don't have to with stuff like tacos or carne asada fries.

So when the employee asked if I wanted everything, I figured that just meant the usual cheese, guac, pico, and sour cream. The usual toppings for carne asada fries at most places. I tried to eat around them but you just can't, some of them get mushed up onto the fries. Ruined my whole lunch, had to buy something crappy in the break room and just gave it to...

If you go here more than half of the time they will get your order wrong, over charge you, and be rude. The only reason I kept on going back is because they are down the street from me but this last time after ordering over the phone I get there they forgot to place my order. The owner Acknowledged it and said we forgot to place your order but we do remember you calling its going to be another 20 minutes can you wait? I say well I'm already here and I am hungry. When I get my food I noticed its more than what I asked for and was charged for it. he says it's not like you can not finish the food and sorry for the 2 mistakes.
