Shaking, throwing up and going through an extreme panic attack.
About an hour ago I started feeling funny and weird. I figured I was just having one of those days where I have to go back home and take it easy.
I began taking deep breaths thinking, maybe I’m worried for nothing. Why would I feel this way? I never once thought to checked my coffee because I always order decaf.
It got worse and I double checked my cup, they did not give me decaf as I asked for.
I have panic disorder and haven’t drank caffeine for over 10 years. I’m also battling cancer so caffeine is a no for me because of my medications.
I ordered a decaf ice Americano coffee, like I always do and realized after I was finished that it was not decaf, it was a blonde espresso. I specifically always order decaf, this is a first. This little mistake will send me to the ER. I’m at work and it’s too late, I drank it while driving to work. I hope I don’t have to close early and head to the ER. This is completely unacceptable. I don’t know what to do, if you’ve ever suffered from panic attacks you will know the hell it is, add on cancer pain and it’s a recipe for disaster.
I will have to lose a day of work, I own a business and my customers show up a lot on Saturday’s, I will have to reschedule appointments.
This is a mistake that should not have been made. Please listen carefully when a customer puts in an order. This could have been avoided and now I...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with the service at this Starbucks location.
If we’re going to talk about “following the company policy” then Starbucks seriously needs to clarify what the policies actually are.
Every day, every store seems to have a different version of what’s allowed and what’s not. How are customers supposed to know what’s right when there’s no consistency across locations?
What’s even more frustrating is what I witnessed today — this staff dropped my food item on the floor while handing it over. According to basic hygiene and common sense, a new item should have been prepared. That’s not just good service — that’s the bare minimum standard. But instead, this staff ignored this completely and proceeded to serve the same item like nothing happened. So much for “following the company policy” right?
It’s honestly laughable when staff selectively enforce policies when it’s convenient, but disregard them when it’s their mistake.
Starbucks is a brand built on consistency and trust — but experiences like this really make me question both. I hope corporate takes these discrepancies seriously, because customers shouldn’t have to guess what kind of service they’re going to get depending on the...
Read moreI like Starbucks but I am not too fond of this location. It is the most convenient location on my way to work which is the primary reason I go here. There is one particular barista that works in the Drive-Thru on occasion that messes up my order at least 60% of the time. I recognize your voice when I get to the speaker box and though she reads my order back correctly she somehow messes up typing it in. Without fail, every time I get to the window she's either too focused on giggling or whatever she's doing and not totally focused on me as the customer. Yesterday I went here and her and a guy were working the window. The guy handing out orders and she was taking the orders. The guy is too busy yawning. I ordered a venti hot caramel macchiato and they attempted to hand me an iced drink. They corrected the situation quickly. But like I said before, this particular girl makes a lot of mistakes. Apparently there are limited options for her within the facility and they always seem to have her in...
