As another reviewer said, don’t let the “tourist trap” appearance fool you! This place was worth the 1.5 hours we spent in it. We ate huckleberry pie with huckleberry icecream. My husband, my son (8), and I liked the icecream better than the pie, but the pie was good too. My other son (6) only liked the vanilla icecream. The pie crust is firmer/dense, not flakely, as others have stated; however, it was very good with the icecream. It would’ve been awesome served warm!!!

We also enjoyed shopping in the adjacent store, buying a multi tool, magnet, t-shirt, wine tumbler, coffee, cherry jelly beans, post cards, dark chocolate with huckleberry, huckleberry coffee, and huckleberry syrup. Yeah, you could say that we found out how much we like huckleberries! Overall, prices were not bad for what this place is. Staff was friendly enough, and the store and restaurant areas were clean. We used the bathroom (women’s), and it was clean as well (outdated, but clean). So if you’re in the area, definitely stop by and give the pie and huckleberry icecream a try!

UPDATE: ran out of the coffee in less than a week, so if you love coffee and huckleberries get more than one can. Also, the huckleberry dark chocolate was delicious, as is the syrup (comes out of the bottle more like a jelly though).

*Masks were required, sanitizer at registers, patrons observed...

I am not a fan of the wait-in-an-insanely-long-line business model to place an order and then have to wait again to find a table and then wait again to get your food. I don't understand this business model. It makes for a horrible customer service experience. This is the 3rd place in Columbia Falls that does this and they have failed in the customer service realm. They all could do better to change it. The gift shop side was their only saving grace. A lot of great gifts and so many made from or have huckleberry ingredients. I'd recommend that side. The restaurant side is a different story. We waited in a line to order our food for 20 minutes and then waited another 15 minutes to get a table and then another 38 minutes to get the order. The order taking staff were less than friendly. I understand they are in customer service and work with people all day, but at least smile and pretend you like your job. It would help the stress the customers are feeling having to wait in line after line (especially after already spending the entire day in line upon line at the National Park). The food was delicious and the huckleberry ice cream was the best we've had. So, in short, if you can brave more lines and chaos to get your food ordered and then a table, the food may...

I ordered online some flathead cherry syrup and 3 tins of the flathead cherry tea. I was told when I ordered that it would be here on Thursday, it did not get to me till Saturday, 3 days later that I had planned, but oh well to that. Got my box with the syrup, packed very well I must say, however they sent me 3 tins of wild huckleberry tea, not cherry. I have been emailing and calling since Saturday and the only response I have received form them is an email telling me my tracking number. I have the stuff, but it is the wrong stuff. I can't seem to get any one to answer the phone or even read on the email that I sent that it was the wrong tea. The customer service is very poor, and I am not happy with having over $25 worth of tea that I did not order and still don't have the tea I did order almost 2 weeks after ordering and paying for it.

Ok, shout out to Tina and Kathy (or with a C, i don't know which) as soon as i got a hold of someone, these ladies got to work making it right for me. They now have the right tea on it's way to me, and they didn't even ask for the wrong tea back, so that will be going to my tea loving sister. It would have been nice if the shipping dep hadn't made the mistake in the first place, but i guess we are all...

Tl;Dr raw pie This place is crazy. Lots of traffic. That in itself is not a bad thing. There's a lot of cool stuff at the gift shop. They have Made in Montana goods which is cool! We had a couple people in our group get milkshakes or ice cream which was delicious. Here's our big problem which our group of 10+ said was just not acceptable. The bottom crust of the pie was raw. It's not cooked. Still mildly translucent and white. Not at all Golden brown as it should be. It's a "pie" so we shouldn't care. Sorry, but this pie is $45+ and when I'm paying that kind of premium for a product, I expect it to at least be edible. Raw pie crust ruined the entire pie for our family. Also, unrelated, the woman operating the cash register in the restaurant area was just such a downer. Didn't matter that we all showed up with a smile and basic hellos, she was just elbows on the register, and clearly didn't give AF that we were there. I DO NOT care for fake perky servers. But if people are being courteous to you, is it too much to ask for you to simply be courteous back instead of completely indifferent?
