1917 Club — Restaurant in Columbia

Many posts have different interpretations of what an NCO Club should be and Ft. Jackson's version is one of the best.

Food: you can count on a fresh salad bar with around 30 options and a dozen different salad dressings. The hot bar always has a bade offering of rice, dirty rice, or some sort of potatoes and then a mixture of different meat options. I've found they do a good job with their catfish and an exceptional job with their gumbo.

Restaurant: the restaurant serves everyone buffet style and has tons and tons of seating that is all at the highest end of buffet seating. Clean tables in 4-tops, 6-tops, 8-tops and they will push a combination together is you have a massive party. If you call ahead they will set up large groups in one of their many private rooms.

Service: the servers and wait staff here have never been anything but welcoming and helpful. It's the kind of place where you feel like you could ask the staff anything.

Overall: I will return to eat here, again, and have no issues recommending it to anyone...

Went to this place like 30 minutes ago that tall hostess wearing red is highly rude Sat while this lady shoved 3 kids out of line and folks seemed to be OK with her disrespectful actions like she and the toy cop were running a boot camp at the door to the table room I will surely never eat ate this place again and all honesty the food was straight up not seasoned at all and whom ever this hostess us she needs to clearly be voted off this base On top of that all the folks who will read this I highly advised you to dispute this if you have used your credit or debit card asap cause I will be first thing...

I was there on 10/27/2021 and 10/28/2021 with both my boys that are serving the country at the same time, both day the food was really good but on the second day I was embarrassed by the hostess when she approach my table and told us to get up because there was a lot of people waiting to be seated, that was the worst experience my family and I ever had in a restaurant, the worst part was she came with the other guess waiting to be seated, never again will I ever...
