As a first-time customer of this establishment, the two cheerful women working the front inside the establishment were welcoming, happy to answer questions from an out-of-state first-time customer. It took a little longer than typical wait time to receive my 8pc family meal, which I had no complaints waiting for. I didn't even mention that it was a bit of a wait, and the kind woman working the front with her helper (who had just come back from her break eager to assist) instructed the you girl to throw in a half gallon of their famous sweet tea as a token of their appreciation for my patience. I wish I had gotten the two women's names. Because everything about my experiences with them was lovely. I will never forget my first experience at a Bojangle's during my first time in South Carolina because of those two spirited workers. That, and the chicken blows all of the other competitors out of the water. The fried chicken was SO crunchy, juicey, hot (temperature), fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The breading wasn't really a thick breading. It was more like biting into a deliciously, VERY crunchy cloud that covered some top-notch chicken. It all tasted very fresh. The next time I visit a Bojangle's anywhere (which I will go out of my way to experience this chicken again) I will do so with confidence that I know I'm about to eat some delicious fried chicken. The bo-tato rounds are a gift to any pallet, as well. And their biscuits are so fluffy and buttery. They were even delicious a day later right out of the microwave in my hotel room! Thank you for this wonderful experience to everyone at this...
Read moreI had ordered my food off of Uber Eats. I saw that a carrier arrive early to pick up my food, but did it changed to another carrier then it changed to another carrier so I’m like OK. Let me go. See if I can get my food when I arrive at Bojangles on Garnet ferry Road they didn’t even start to fix my food But on the app said it was wrapping it up when I got there the lady said they didn’t have any more chicken thighs or chicken legs. Only thing they had left was chicken wings. I waited for my food as I was waiting for my food. I saw another carrier coming in to come pick up my order, but I told her that I was there to pick up my order because I saw two previous carriers Come before her as I waited in there for 30 to 45 minutes for my Food another carrier came in to pick up my order and I was still waiting for my food to be fixed. Did I ask what is the whole love with my food? Oh, we waiting on fries Then I was waiting other customers was coming in the lobby. No one said anything to the customer in the lobby. They just stand there and waited for them to come to the front wide. They just walk around like they was lost when I finally got my food I still was missing my coleslaw and my child size drink. The lady was like oh all your food is in the bag, but it wasn’t. I’m glad I checked my bag. I would never order from this Garnerferry Bojangles again I have never seen an establishment that always ran Out of chicken When your main thing on the menu is chicken, y’all need to get better management better order skills because this does...
Read moreStraight hot garbage. Moved to the Garners Ferry area 3 years ago. And every year since, this bojangles gets worse. From the staff, to the wait time, to the quality of the food itself.
I’ve been to this location over the course of 3 years totaling at a minimum 15 times, literally. I’m willing to go through my debit card records to prove it’s definitely triple that.
I normally get something so simple, how do you mess it up? Egg and cheese biscuit with bo rounds. That’s it. That’s all I get. And it’s never right. Something is either always missing, undercooked, or just straight not edible. I went last weekend to get my wife a chicken biscuit, it wasn’t even fully cooked through. Luckily she noticed on the first bite. She couldn’t even eat the bo rounds because they looked like they were more bo mashed hash browns cooked in dirty oil.
I normally go to a place several times at varying times of the day and days of the week before I give a review. You never know what could be going on. Maybe short staffed, food delivery didn’t come in, or just simply human burnout. Hey everyone is entitled to a bad day, right? But 3 YEARS of decline is not acceptable.
Do yourself a favor and go to the location just down the road in front of Whole Foods. Recently remodeled and has a...
