Great little park in the middle of town. I’ve been coming to this side of town for 20+ years and just found this gem. Went for a hike seen a herd of deers, several squirrels and a good assortment of birds. I’d highly recommend coming and having a picnic. There are plenty trash cans for trash. Plenty of tennis courts. I’d give 5 stars if the trash was picked up. It really needs someone to walk the park to clean it up.

This is a nice little park. We came to play Pokemon Go, and there were some gyms and stops. Some of it is paved, some of it isn’t. There’s a trail that leads you into the woods and across the lake, it’s pretty nice. There are a lot of tennis courts and pickleball courts to play in as well.

Been hiking, jogging and birding this park for years. Well maintained by the park staff. Don’t let it’s small size fool you. It’s good for Nature Study of Birds, Butterflies, Wildflowers and Trees. Has a few well designed trails and a soccer field.

so my friends and i wanted to go play pickleball and at first all the pickleball courts were taken so we went and practiced at a tennis court after a while we switched over to the pickleball court to see if we could get a court, and these old lady told us to put our paddles in this area that’s for beginners so we did that. while we were waiting for open play this guy says “if yall want to play alone yall can go to the tennis court” and this made us uncomfortable but we just ignored it. then we were playing with this guy he was nice but was throwing shade here and there but we just ignored it, then the old lady comes and says “oh if they don’t know how to play this is not the time” so she’s weird for that because first of all how are we supposed to learn when ALL THE COURTS ARE TAKEN, i’ve bet everyone had their first time and they weren’t pros at it. we didn’t feel welcomed whatsoever and the park is public and they should welcome anyone that wants to learn. the old lady is...

I have been told to be cautious here but I have never ran into any problems here. There is always a ranger at the ranger station or walking around the park. There are multiple paths, disc golf, a huge field to have a party in or play sports, and picnic tables scattered throughout. There is also a small bridge where you can look over and see fish and turtles. They do allow you to fish here within regulations, and their are tennis courts on the grounds above the path. There is a restroom area, where you also fine bowls left out for your pups to drink from. At the ranger station you can often find tennis balls left there for use. I love taking my dogs here as well as my kids it is close by and good when you need to burn off...

This is a great disc golf course, although definitely not beginner friendly. Even the short layout (Red/Yellow) is challenging for experienced amateurs. The course is mostly off of the normal walking paths, but there are a couple of places you still have to watch for other park-goers.

While playing, I saw others fishing in the pond, walking the trails, playing tennis or pickleball, and generally enjoying the sunshine.

The bathroom (near the ranger station) was small, but clean and air-conditioned.

Overall, I had a great time at the park and would definitely recommend it, especially to fellow...
